Chapter Five: Alone

I opened my eyes and gave out a sleepy yawn. I sat up on my bed and stretched my arms with a moan. I plopped back to the bed, closed my eyes and groaned.

A chuckled made me snap my eyes open again. "Your quite the sleeping beauty aren't you?" A voice asked. I looked at the door and saw Loki standing with a grin.

"What are you doing here Loki?" I asked with a morning voice. He walked to me and sat in my bed. "Well... Since you and I are the only ones here, I thought I should pay a visit." He replied.

The only ones?

"Wait... What do you mean 'Since you and I are the only once here'?" I asked, confused. "Well, the team left a letter on the living room table for you which says:
Dear Y/n, We are on a trip to a near beach. We wanted you to come but Tony said he wanted a day without seeing you. Don't mind him. Anyways, Bruce came with us because he wanted to relax. Loki is the only one with you so I hope you'll be careful. We'll be gone for two days. Your Best Friend Brother-Like, Steve Rogers."

My eyes widened. I gave out a frustrated sigh. "Well then. Loki, wait for me at the living room. The both of us will do something that'll take our boredom away." I said.

He nodded and walked out of the room. I stood up and took a bath, brushed my hair, put it in a clean bun, and went to the kitchen and ate breakfast.

When I was done doing my daily morning routine, I went to the living room and saw Loki sitting on the sofa reading a book. He was really serious reading. Wow.

The view of him reading made me grin. He noticed me standing and looked at me. "What are you staring at?" He asked. I smiled and sat beside him.

"What, can't a mortal check out The God of Mischief?" I teased. He looked at me with a wide grin. A few seconds later we both bursted to a fit of laughter.

He placed the book beside him and crossed him arms. "So... Tell me, why do you mortals cry easily? Are you that weak?" He asked.

I gave him a 'really' look and sighed. "Loki, people don't cry because they're weak. They cry because they've been strong for too long." I replied.

He gave me a smile and nodded. Then we talked for a hours. Until I noticed that it was already night. "Aren't we gonna take a Dinner? We haven't ate lunch." I stated.

He shook his head. "Gods doesn't really need to eat, Darling." He said. I nodded. "How about you?" He asked. "I don't eat too. It's fine. I'm not hungry anyways." I replied.

He nodded. "So... What are we planning for tomorrow?" I asked. "How about...." Loki said. "How about what?" I asked in pure confusion.

He then gave me one of his mischievous smirks. "Oh no..." I whispered and slowly stood up. "Oh yes." Loki said and stood up too. I ran to the kitchen and hid.

I found an opened flour and held it tight. I felt someone hold my arm, so I turned around and I threw the flour at him. It was Loki.

His face was now full of flour. I giggled and ran to the dining room. I didn't have time to hide because Loki already hugged my waist tight.

"No Loki let me go!" I squealed. Just then, I felt a cold substance on my head. It was a freezing milk! He chuckled and ran away. "Loki!" I yelled and took one raw egg.

I went to the kitchen and saw him chuckling. He wasn't looking, so I cracked the egg on his head then ran away. But before I could run, he already held my arm.

Then he teleported us to his room. "We should probably clean the mess. Or else Tony will definitely kill us." I said. "Done." He said and snapped his fingers.

"Now, can I go to my room? I definitely need a bath." I said. He smiled and nodded. "See you tomorrow. Goodnight Loki." I said and went to my room.

I took a bath and dried my hair, brushed it then took a book in my cabinet. I read for a few minutes until I felt my eyes getting heavy. I placed my book back to it's place and fell into a deep sleep.

            The Next Morning

"Wake up Sleeping Beauty." A voice whispered. I opened my was and rolled over which caused me to fall. That's when I realized, I'm in the living room sofa.

"What the fruit? Loki! Why!" I asked. He smirked and went to the kitchen. "That was a payback for yesterday!" He yelled from the kitchen.

I smiled and stood up slowly. Loki came back while eating a sandwich. I held my back and heard a 'crack'. "Loki, I think you broke my backbone." I said.

He chuckled. "No I didn't." He said, mouth still full. "What? I can't understand you." I said. "I said-" He stopped and held out a finger.

He gulped his food and sighed. "I said, I didn't." I bursted into laughter. "You should've seen your face! It was priceless!" I stated between laughter.

He playfully punched my shoulder. "Stop that." He said, with a smile evident in his lips. "Alright. I'll eat breakfast and take a bath, then we both can go to the park." I said.

He nodded and sat on the sofa. I went to my room and took a bath. I ate bacon and eggs for breakfast and also drank milk. I dried my hair and fixed it in it's usual clean bun.

I wore a blue shirt with a frost drawing in it and was paired with a white skinny jeans and white shoes.

"Loki, let's go!" I said. I saw Loki wearing a green shirt with a 'Loki'd' sign on it. It was paired with a black pants and shoes. His hair was on a ponytail. I chuckled.

"Wow. You look... Nice." I stated. He grinned. "You don't look half bad yourself." He replied. I playfully rolled my eyes and took his arm. "Come on." I said and pulled him to the elevator.

When we were at the elevator, I looked at the camera and asked, "Jarvis, take care of the tower for a bit can you? Loki and I will go out for a few hours okay?"

"Yes Y/n." Jarvis replied. I smiled then the elevator opened and gave a small 'Ding'. I took Loki's arm and tangled my arm to his. We walked to the park with our arms tangled. People was looking at us whispering things like,

"Isn't that the guy who destroyed New York?"

"What is she doing with him?"

"Isn't she scared?"

"He must've gave her a spell."

Loki gave them a death glare and slowly take his arm out of my grasp. I took his hand and held it tight. "Don't mind them. They're just jealous that you don't have a friend like me." I whispered.

He smiled and nodded. Then we sat on a Bench and talked. We played Tag and Truth or Dare. It was a fun day. After all the fun, we went home exhausted, but with smiled in our faces.

"Thank you for the fun Y/n." He said. I nodded. "No problem. See you tomorrow. Goodnight Prankster." I joked. He grinned and replied,

"Goodnight Princess."

♠A/n: Hey! How are you? I'm really nervous right now. Summer is about to end. My father told me that I can't hold this phone when thr school starts. So I'm akready warning you.
