8.Save Him

Jasper POV

I woke up at sunrise. Luckily I had my cloak to protect me.
Not long after a redheaded fish lady walked in, then it clicked. The same woman that kidnapped me yesterday had just walked in, I backed into the wall. She came closer, she knelt in front of me "Where is he?" She asked sternly "W-who are you talking about?" I asked her, she grabbed my collar and pulled me forward "Encre! Where is Encre!?" She asked angrily "....a....at the castle....w-with father." I answered she threw me back, and I slammed against the wall. She got up and quickly strode out. Just before she walked out the door she turns back to me "Your to be executed tommorow at sunrise." She said the walked it slamming to door.

I sat in silence, I was cold, hungry, scared, and quite frankly pissed.

Fallacy POV

Jasper! Taken by Eterna! This wasn't good if we're lucky he has until tommorow! I quickly gave orders to Damian to go into town and figure where'd they'd rake him and when his "execution" was, I would save my son, no matter the cost.

Damian POV

I'd never seen Master like this 'a's obviously worried about his son, so without a second thought I grabbed my lute and was off. It would be easy for me to gain information, I was a minstrel, me Master, King Fallacy, had saved me from starvation as a child. I owe him my life, I rushed to town, the towns people trusted me, so it would be easy for me to gain the information I wanted. I went to the info broker to get the most reliable though "Do you know any word of a vampire coming threw 'ere? me master says that Eterna caught one yesterday, but I wis 'a's lying." I asked the woman behind the counter "honey there was quite the ruckus over that vampire yesterday, some say he's their prince. I wouldn't be surprised if he was he sure was dressed like one. And a mortal like you and I was protecting him could you believe it" she answered, the info broker had a thick southern accent, which didnt bother me. I did talk with western dialect. "aye its hard to believe some of us mortals at helpin' scum like them," I said as I put to shillings (idk old money *shrugs* why not shillings I'd say a shilling equals a dollar if you want value) on her desk "Do ye know when 'a's gonna be executed?" I asked in low voice " 'morrow, at sunrise their gonna burn the boy." she said I nodded my thanks and walked away. I went go my usual spot in town square and began to play

I finished the song, bowed and walked back to the castle. Told Master what the info broker told me. And went to get something to eat I hadn't had anything yet that day and it was mid day, I was hungry!

Fallacy POV.

Tommorow at sunrise? Burning him at the stake? We'll jsu tajve to see. Tommorow we will go and rescue him before the sunrises, though I dont know if he'll make it out with out a few burns here and there. No matter, Suave iis amazing at dealing with burns, he'll be able to fix that.

Jasper POV.

It was early evening and I still hadn't a crumb to eat that day, though I dont need blood everyday I do need food. I was starving. I was laying on the bed when I heard foot steps coming up the stairs. I jumped up, someone slid a tray of food under the door I took it and eat quickly. The sun was beginning to set I had to say it was around 8 PM. Six hours left.
I went to bed wanting to get my execution out of my head but I couldn't help but think about it

Before the sun I woke up to a loud banging o my door, "get up! Time to go!" A voice yelled threw the door I did as I was told grabnig my cloak and pttig it on. They took it when I walked out. Should've known they would. We walked to town square where a large cross sit. I took a deep breath. Please don't let me down father. They tied me up and I sat there waiting for the sun to rise. The cross was in direct line of the sun, clearly specially put there for vampires. People stared to gather shoutig for them to go ahead and kill me. Tears stared running Dow my cheeks, the sun began to rise. The pain was unbearable. I screamed as I felt myself being burned. Cheers began to ehi through the town. I'd given up hope on father coming. He would have saved me by now.

Fallacy POV

I flew faster and faster ad I heard screams echo. "Jasper!" I yelled as I flew into town not caring if I was seen. I saw him struggling to get loose screaming pain. Burning the most painful way for a vampire to die. I swooped down and grabbed quickly throwing a cape over him and holding him close. The guards noticed me I flew quickly away almost being shot down. Jasper gripped my shirt tightly, the burns were worse then I thought. It would take forever for him to heal. I flew quickly to the castle keeping a death grip on my son. I flew in threw a window, it would have taken to lot to go threw the door he needef medical attention ASAP Suave the up quickly taking him into medical care. Encre watched as Suave ran with the young vampire. He's fainted as soon ad I got him it of the sunlight. Luckily my cloak protected me from it so I was unscathed, Jasper was in terrible condition. If only I flew faster thy eh he wouldn't be as harmed. BT its to late now
