Fallacy POV
The temperature (Can't spell! Correct my horrible spelling skills please XD) dropped by the minute, it was freezing cold. Jasper and I were both shivering, he was huddled close to me. I couldn't tell if it was from fear, or wanting warmth.
I heard a door creak open, and a familiar voice. Damian! He was here, we had a chance at an escape! He chatting with that Azure fellow, at least I think his name was Azure, I wasn't sure, and I didn't care if I was right or not. Jasper mumbled something, shrinking further into my cape. I stroked the back of his skull and he calmed a bit. I took of the cloak I had and placed it around us as a blanket, it wasn't very heavy, and barely able to keep us warm, but it would do for now. Damian stopped for a split second when he passed us, and dropped a small piece of paper. I picked it up and read it,
Don't worry Master, the other servants and I have a plan. We'll get you and the young lord back at the castle in no time. Suave is rescuing Encre as we speak.
It read. I gave him a small nod, and Jasper had a sparkle in his eyes. At least we had some knowledge of what was happening now.
Encre POV (back to my favorite mortal!)
I heard a faint knock on the window in my little studio, I looked over and saw Suave! I rushed over and quickly opened the window, "Suave? What are you doing here? You could be killed!" I said in a hushed voice, "Rescuing you, and the lords. Come now, no time to waste!" he said waving me outside. I looked at the door, then back at him and nodded. My room was mostly underground, the window being just above. he offered me a hand which I took and climbed out. We made a death sprint, "What about Fallacy and Jasper!?" I asked paniced realizing they weren't with him, 'Damian's taking care of the lords, he's probably in the dungeon with them as we speak!" he answered as we ran towards the Forbidden Forest. I hope his hypothisis is correct.
Jasper POV
So cold, so scared. I want to go home. Father held me closer as I shivered, I felt him shivering to though he hid his coldness better then I. The minstrel (I can never remember his name) gave Father and I a note telling us that he and the other servants had an escape plan. My soul lifted, my fear vanished. We would be home! Where it wasn't unbearably cold! I looked up at Father who had a glimmer of hope in his eyes, as did I.
The minstrel and knight both knocked out the other guards, the knight stole the keys and unlocked the cage. He rushed us out, "Thank you Azure, for helping me free my masters." Minstrel said with a bow, "Well, you know my beliefs Damian." Azure replied, 'Alright we must go before suspicion arises, thank you Azure." Father said, I loosened my grip on his side but still stood close to him, we both unfurled our wings, Father picked up Minstrel (See sometimes Jasper just calls Damian minstrel,because that's actually how they were addressed in this time period, the more you know) , and we flew off toward the Forbidden Forest, and home.
As we flew. I spotted Encre and Suave running quickly towards the forest, "There they are Father!" I said pointing towards them, we landed slowly. No one stopped for fear that we'll all end back were we started if we did, we ran faster and faster. Encre started to slowdown, obviously not used to running for extended periods of time, Father scooped him up bridal style, he turned a mix of many different colors. I ran next to Suave quickly, Minstrel not far behind.
we ran into the castle slamming the door behind us, Father and I sank to the floor in a heap. Encre had fallen asleep in Father's arms. I got up and went to my room. crawled into a bed, and slept.
Fallacy POV
I took Encre to our room, and placed him in the bed, I had to much adrenaline (yep can't spell!) running threw me to sleep now, I got up and went to leave the room when I heard a faint whimper, I opened the door and a whine came from the sleeping mortal, he reached his hand out to me. I sighed, shut the door back and crawled in next to me. He purred as I pulled him close to me, and I somehow drifted into a dreamless sleep
Authors Note
WOO! 'Nother chapter done! I have more planned for this, involving to Jasper X Suave oooh. anyway, thanks for reading! This story is at 534+ reads phsceeeew I'm just like, 'WHAT!? WHen!? How!? WHere!? Why!?" And its blowing my mind how something sooo...... CRAPPY (in my opinion because I have to go and purfread my writing every time I write a chapter and find to many mistakes to count) get so big! I look at peoples stories that got around 1,000+ reads then I'm looking at mine and thinking, "I may be one of those people soon...." and am internally fangirling! I just wanna say thank you Treblepaint for helping me with this when I used my phone and couldn't type on that tiny screen for the life of me! And THANK YOU THEGREATROUGE FOR CREATING SUCH AN AMAZING UNIVERSE!! Aight I'm gonna stop rambling now
