13. Where Are They?

Jasper POV

Father and Encre hadn't been home in three days. Everyone was worried, I'm not old enough to take the throne, and if father's dead without a successor of the age, the kingdom may fall. But I had hope that they were still alive, they had to be! But I wasn't sure until just a few minutes ago, the minstrel (I can never remmember his name) rushed into the castle, he spoke to quickly for me to understand, "Could you please repeat that Dame?" Suave asked "M-Master and Encre huff Were taken by Eterna!" He answered panting "Father's where!?" I screamed. If Eterna had him- oh no. I had to do something! "We have to get to town and save them!" I said starting to sprint, Suave grabbed the back of my shirt, "Not so fast m'lord, you're still very hurt from a few weeks ago!" He said calmly throwing me over his shoulder, I beat on his back and kicked my legs "Let me go! Suave, put me down!" I screamed at him, "Bed m'lord. You need rest." he said walking towards my room, "NO! I need to save Father!" I whined, "Young Lord please." Suave said with chuckle, I gave up in trying to escape, he planted me on my bed and I sat there pouting, "Young Lord its broad daylight, even if I did let you go out there you'd burn, or worse collapse because your working yourself to hard." Suave said picking up a pile of clothes in the corner, "still need to do something! He is my father!" I whined, "Well, if it makes you feel better, Damian and I will go investigate tomorrow." Suave said taking a basket of clothes to the door, "But I wanna go with you to town!" I pouted, "No Lord Jasper, you need to rest. Those burns need time to heal!" He ordered, "Now I have work I need to do, promise you'll stay put Lord?" He said going to walk the door, "Fine! but I wanna go with you to town tomorrow!" I said more of an order then a request, "alright lord, but we won't be there long. Just long enough to get the information we need." He said walking out, at least he's letting me go. I thought drifting into a dreamless sleep.

Fallacy POV

When I wake up I was chained and gagged. it was daylight? I felt a stinging pain in my wings. I looked back at them, iron chains wrapped tight enough to cut them. It hurt, at least I was covered from the sun. My vision was blurry, I saw people. All mortals. one stood out, a large hat, next to them a small one in a cloak. Jasper! And Suave, and Damian was with him! I felt relieved knowing they were near, I had a chance of getting out of this- Encre! Where was Encre!? I looked around frantically, I attempted to call for him, but it was to muffled for even me to understand. "Father!" I heard a familiar voice yell, quick footsteps headed toward me followed, Jasper! "Jasper! you shouldn't be running!" Suave yell running after the young vampire. My vision cleared and in front of me was Jasper, I felt tears fill my eyes, he untied the gag, I coughed and leaned against him, I was weak, very weak, "Father your wings!" Jasper exclaimed covering his mouth, Suave walked behind me and carefully took the chains off my wings, it still hurt like hell though, "E....Encre? W....Where's En....Cre?" I asked as Jasper helped me to my feet, "I don't know, we've only found you Father." Jasper answered, "jasper do you think you can get him back to the castle on your own?" Suave asked him, "I think." He answered, "I'll go with 'a. As ye said yes'day the lads still weak." Damian said, "That will be good, I'll continue to search for Encre." "I'm not going anywhere without Encre!" I yelled, my voice hoarse. "Lord please, your much to weak to searching for him. You can't even stand on your own!" Suave begged, "I cough must find him! He was under my protection!" I said sternly, "No Father, I must agree with Suave. You are far to weak,look at your wings for heavens sake!" Jasper said worriedly, I gave in and let them take me back to the castle. I regretted the decision however, because just before we reached the Forbidden Forest the guard had captured as again. I was put to asleep again, before I shut my i saw Jasper flailing, crying, and screaming. I was a horrible king, I can't even protect my own son

Suave POV

I heard Jasper scream, I rushed over to where it sounded. but I was to late. By the time i got there they already had Jasper and Fallacy chained and in the cage on the back of a cart, driving off. If only I was quicker! Damian skull was cracked slightly and he was laying unconcious on the ground, I walked over and picked him up. I would not let this go unnoticed. We needed a make a plan, to take down Eterna.

I took Damian back to the castle and bandaged his wounded skull, "What happened Suave Where is the young lord?" Gazelle asked, "Most likely in King Asgoro's dungeon>" I stated getting up, "What in the word do you mean by that!?" she shrieked, "We'd found Lord Fallacy, but before we could make it into the forest, the guards tracked us and took them back into a custody." I said angrily clenching my fists, "Well what are we gonna do?" She asked, "Take revenge!" I said a evil smirk spreading across my face, "We'll devise a plan, gather the rest of the maids. And the vampires, we all need to create a plan to save our lords!" I said walking out of the room. "O-okay I'll get right on it!" she said running briskly past me, "gather them all in the throne room!" I hollered as she jetted down the hall.

word count: 1010 Dang! This was a long chapter! I listened to the entire Heathers soundtrack while writing it! Oh! And in future chapters expect a lot less spelling mistakes, I've switched to my laptop to write these instead of my phone so its easier to tell when somethings spelled wrong!
