20. Fallacy Returns

Fallacy POV

I flew quickly, my home in view. I landed gently on the front steps. Some of the servants rushed to open the door for me, I walked in and saw Jasper and Plume talking about something, I could barely make out what they were saying. Suddenly Jasper's head snapped towards me, "Father!" He exclaimed running over and hugging me, "You're finally home! Its been days!" He continued letting go of me, "The Counsel was displeased with Encre staying here. But I took care of it." I replied grinning, "We're gonna run out of vampires for the counsel Father." jasper said crossing his arms and smirking, "Well we don't need a counsel I am perfectly capable of running the kingdom on my own." I stated cockily. Plume walked over, he looked much better then he did when I left. "H-hello, Lord Fallacy." He said with a bow. "No need to be so formal Plume, this is your home for awhile." I replied patting his head. He nodded, he seemed less shy around Jasper then he was when I left. Probably an introvert.

Next thing I knew a blur of white tackled me and I was on the floor. "Encre! Good lord!" I exclaimed looking at who just knocked me to the ground, "You had me very worried! Next time tell me when you're gonna disappear for a week!" He shouted at me. I saw tears at the corners of his eye. I hugged the mortal tightly, "I apologize Encre, I should have made sure you were aware." I said sympathetically stroking the back of his skull, he gripped my shirt tightly nuzzling my chest, I shushed him as a heard him whimper a few times, "Father and Encre in a tree!" Jasper sung looking at us. "QUIET!" Encre yelled turning pure rainbow.

I chuckled and picked him up bridal style. He yelped in surprise. I carried him threw the castle. I walked out to the garden and sat on bench placing him next to me. He snuggled into my side and I placed my arm loosely around his waist, "I love you mon amour." (My love/dear can't remember which, but hey I used French! WOO!) Encre spoke softly nuzzling me, 'I love you too my living artwork."

Whelp! This was just a little splur of the moment chapter, I guess you could call it filler? IDK, but we've reached over 1,000 reads!! MY MIND IS BLOWN!! LIKE HOLY ISH!! MY LIFE IS COMPLETE Y'ALL. Also this was super short, it barely met myy standards of a chapter having to be over 400 words, but ya know I'm happy with it, and Encre will probably speak little blurps of Frenchliek the "Mon amour" because I'm reading a lot of VampVers fanfic where he speaks French and am picking it up (sorta just like little tid bits) so yeah! Okay Imma stop talking now
