Peridot is the new girl in town. Lapis is helping her adjust to her new environment. In the process of it all, feelings develop. What will happen next?
I was so excited, I was getting ready as soon as I got home. After setting my school stuff down, I ran to my room to put my dress on. I don't classify myself as the 'girly-girl' type, but I don't mind wearing dresses. (I actually enjoy wearing them!)
My dress is a dark blue ombre color, light at the top, and gets darker at the bottom. The bottom of my long dress has silver sparkles too. The dress itself if really fitting, showing off my curves. And the back of the dress is my favorite, it's a low cut V shape and a halter around my neck. Also around my neck is a blue lapis lazuli teardrop shaped gem necklace. My mom bought it for me, since it was the gem that I was named after.
Once my dress was situated, I sat in front of my mirror and applied my makeup and styled my hair nicely. I put some dangling blue diamond earrings in my ears and picked out a pair of shoes. I considered wearing high heels, but I'm already much taller than Peridot, so I decided not to.
I picked up my phone after checking to make sure I was ready. The time read 4:36. I clicked the phone app and dialed the number of the place I was taking Peri, to make sure the reservation was still saved for us, which it was. By the time I got off the phone with the man, the time was already 4:48. Man these people talk a lot, I thought to myself. I decided to text Peri.
Lapis- hey Peri 😉
Peri- hey 😁
Lapis- are you almost ready?
Peri- yeah actually I'm ready now
Lapis- really?
Peri- yeah...I was excited lol 😂
Lapis- want me to come early?
Peri- sure!
Lapis- ok! I'll be over in 5 minutes
Peri- ok! I love you 💙
Lapis- love you too Peri 💚
I grabbed my wallet and phone and walked out the door and headed to Peri's house.
