((Lapis' POV))
"About what?" Peridot asked me. Of course she did, because why wouldn't she?
"You," I replied, still expressionless. I know she's getting annoyed, and it's funny when she gets like that.
"Why me? There's so many other things to think about."
"Because you're my favorite thing to think about," I said smiling at Peri. She smiled back with a cute little giggle.
"Come on Lazuli. Be serious," she laughed as I crawled towards her. I sat behind her and cuddled with her. She kept arguing and playfully trying to push me away laughing, but I wouldn't budge. I kissed her cheek and instantly saw a deep red blush settle on her face. I chucked at her. She looks really cute when she's nervous!
"Peri I'm kinda tired. I'm gonna sleep right here," I said as I placed my head on her stomach.
"Why there? What if I wanted to go do something? Now I can't because I have a head on me!" She complained.
"Shh I can't sleep with you blabbering!" I said.
"But your head is really heavy on my stomach."
"I could move if you'd like."
"Yes please."
"Okay."
I removed my head from her abdomen and placed it next to hers, then wrapped my arms around her. "Is this better?" I asked, smirking.
"Yeah I suppose," she replied, smiling back at me.
I closed my eyes and fell asleep thinking about how lucky I am to be able to love Peridot.
A/N oh my goodness I'm so sorry it took so long to update this. It's not even that good of a chapter, but it's something. Anyways, I'll do my best to update again soon, since summer is slowly creeping up on me (yay) but unfortunately, I'm still in school (fuck that ik). Oh well I get out on the 22nd so after that there should be more updates. Thanks for reading and again sorry for the short ass chapter!!
