Today was April Fool's Day so I decided to prank my boyfriend Shawn. I went to his house and his sister Aaliyah answered the door.
"Oh, I will get Shawn. Shawn!"
Shawn came down the stairs and looked at me. I walked over to him and asked if his mom was home.
"Shawn is your mom home?"
Yes, she's in the kitchen."
I went into the kitchen to find his mom.
"Hey, Mrs. Mendes."
"Oh, hi Melissa. Are you here to hangout with Shawn?"" She asked me turning around to face me.
"Actually, I am here to hangout with you."
She looked confused.
"What!" Shawn shouted confused.
I started bursting out laughing while Shawn and his mom stood there confused.
"April Fools." I said hugging Shawn.
"Oh!" Shawn realized and hugged me back.
"I thought you were serious." Shawn said laughing.
"No, I'm here for you."
Shawn kissed me and we decided to go out for lunch and then come back to his house and binge watch Harry Potter. It sounds like a perfect way to spend the day with Shawn.
