Move-In Day/Dramatic Suit Up Scene

(A week later...)

PETER: "Hi, dorm for Peter? Peter Parker?"

(Peter and Aunt May are carrying bags full of Peter's clothes down a hallway of rooms. They eventually find Peter's dorm and stumble in. It's a modest living area, similar to Peter's apartment, but a bit smaller. They set their stuff down and sit down on the couch.)

MAY: "Woah, where did the last 18 years go?"

PETER: "I have no idea. Jeez, this room isn't that bad actually."

MAY: "Yeah huh...and where's the bathroom again?"

PETER: "I think I saw a bathroom sign down the hall."

MAY: "Oh, it's-it's a co-Ed bathroom? Like with girls?"

PETER: "Yup." (He sees Aunt May is a bit nervous about it.) "May, I promise that I will peep through every door and window. I mean, they say that you need to go search for love, right?" (Obviously joking)

MAY: (going along with it, she hugs him) "That's the boy I raised. Anyways, make sure you study, keep your nose in the books, and all that. I'm gonna miss you, so at least don't make me worry about your grades."

PETER: "Love you too, May."

MAY: "Your parents and your Uncle Ben would be so proud to see you, in a college as big as this one. I really wish they could see you now." (Realizing she's about to cry, she stands up and wipes away her tears) "I said I wasn't gonna do this! Ok..." (She wipes away her tears and looks at Peter) "Oh, come here!"

(She hugs Peter, sobbing uncontrollably while Peter wraps her arms around her, laughing at the scenario)

PETER: "I'm gonna visit anytime I can and I'll be sure to answer all your calls, ok?"

MAY: "You promise?" (Peter nods) "Ok, I better get going. Be a good college boy and don't go to too many parties, ok?"

PETER: "Ok, love you Aunt May."

MAY: "Bye!" (She leaves, not before blowing a kiss to Peter.)

(Peter sits and smiles, laughing at Aunt May's clingy-ness, but that's why he loves her. He looks into his bag, grabs his radio, and plays a police transmission as he thinks about his new life when the door flies open and a lanky teenage guy dressed in preppy clothing walks in, holding a couple of bags. Peter rushes to his help.)

PETER: "Here, let me help!"

(Peter grabs a couple of bags and sets them on his bed. The guy also sets down his stuff, looks at Peter, and extends his hand.)

HARRY: "Hi, my name's Harry."

PETER: (shakes his hand) "Peter. So it looks like we're gonna be roommates."

HARRY: "Yeah, well, just a quick warning. I snore, so I recommend earphones."

PETER: (laughs) "So what are you majoring in?"

HARRY: "Business, but I have a pretty big background with science. Astrophysics and all that."

PETER: "Really? Well, I'm here for physics. You listen to podcasts?"

HARRY: "Yeah actually, I just got done listening to Neil Degrasse Tyson on Joe Rogan."

PETER: "I loved that episode! That part when they're talking about how there may be sub-molecules inside atoms! Blew my mind!"

HARRY: "Yeah, I know right!"

(Peter suddenly senses something wrong, so he listens to the police reports.)

RADIO: "Runaway vehicle, Homer Street. 4 men in the car, all armed and dangerous."

PETER: (starts to exit with a backpack) "Ah, I gotta go. I think I'm gonna go check out the campus real quick. I'll talk to you later, alright?"

HARRY: "Sounds fine by me."

(Cut to Peter on the rooftop, backpack in hand. We see clothes hitting the ground and Peter putting on a familiar red and blue suit. We follow red boots running towards the edge of a rooftop, which then jump off the roof. It goes into slow motion and the camera pans, as we see Spider-Man.)
