(Flashback to a month before the previous scene. We see Peter Parker nervously strolling through the city; he checks his watch and speeds up, indicating he's pressed for time. He also looks at something in his other hand, a gift.)

(Cut to him at a park, where we see Mary Jane sitting on a bench, equally as nervous. Peter sees her and smiles.)
PETER: "Hey MJ!"
(Mary Jane sees him and gives a hesitant smile. Suddenly, everything moves in slow-motion, with Mary Jane starting to seem like she's posing for him. Peter monologues to himself.)

PETER (voiceover): "I love everything about Mary Jane." (We see a different scenery: Mary Jane is on a bed, displaying the following things that Peter likes about her.) "I like the way she sometimes licks her lips before she talks. Her smile. Her soft gaze. I love the sound of her laugh. Her hair. I love this heart-shaped birthmark on her neck. I dunno, she just makes me feel happy inside. Like this whole world is spinning in the right direction."

PETER: "Everything's amazing...graduation is in a month, my college is all set, Jameson gave me an astonishing $2 raise, graduation is in a month, and I have the girl of my dreams around my arm...how about you?"
