The digit-clock struck 7:00 a.m.

*Meep Meep Meep*

Crap... no... let me... sleep, Ronald contemplated as he tried to block the sound of the alarm.

August 6, 2117, was the day the young boy is allowed to enter school for the very first time. He was not excited to enter United Formation of Enlightenment Academy by the fact that -base on what he saw on every animation series- school is filled with cliches; annoying and intrusive creatures that tend to possibly get into someone's personal space; including those who try to help you get a better education when in reality you just want to survive until the end. Speaking of people, yes, creatures. Ronald preferred to refer to every person as a creature. He refused to see people as "people" because of what he has experienced in his past-life. He viewed every human being as a bunch of imbeciles with stupid behaviors and repulsive clicks that makes him want to annihilate the entire planet. Ronald himself is, of course, a human which is why he constantly hates himself.

Anyway, in a small cozy room with a medium sized bed beside the wall that is near a closed window, lay the brunette, with tired black eyes and skin that is pale as snow, who dozed off ignoring the alarm until his little friend swept towards him yelling.

"Come on Ronnie wake up it is time for your very first day of school! If you don't wake up right now your dad will be very mad!"

Ronald still lay on his bed with the blankets covering his entire body, half awoken, wanting Violet to leave him alone. Becoming very impatient, Violet approached the book that was sitting by the window and shoved it to the edge allowing it to fall on the boy's head. Ronald jolted and sat up quickly on his bed.

What!? He glared at Violet angrily.

"Um.. the alarm has been going on for four minutes," Violet explained and giggled at the two homophones, "Lols 'for' 'four' that's funny"

<Yes. Funny. Now if you will excuse me I will be going back to bed.>

"Wait! You can't go to bed now! You have to go to school!"

<Does it look like I care.>

"Um... no... but I mean isn't it important cuz education and you get to meet new peo-"

Filled with disgust, Ronald raised his hand to stop Violet from completing that sentence.

<I hate that word. Violet, please. I do not like 'them.'>

"But aren't you like one of 'them'", Violet giggled at her own statement.

<That even makes it worse.>

"Look Ronnie. Your father is looking forward to this day. I mean 'United Formation of Enlightenment Academy'. Sounds like a good school to get you into a good college. Plus when one gets into a good college, they receive a good career."

<How do you know that. You are just an apparition. I think.>

"Hey! I'm here to support you. Won't this make your mom happy? I know she will be proud of you."

Ignoring Violet's statement, Ron went back to bed. Violet was about to say something until Ronald's father, Mr. Ryland, barged into his room. His shining brown hair was cleanly fixed and he appeared to be ready to go to work. His glasses were, however, crooked and his black-colored eyes reveal that he is not looking forward to dealing with his son's laziness.

"Ronald Lorine Smith! You were supposed to be ready 10 minutes ago! Do you really expect me to dress and clean you up as if you were still a child!?"

Ronald jolted from his bed, burying his face against the covers pleading: Please don't say my middle name....

"Ronald you are not a baby anymore. You know very well that someday you will have to be independent and take care of your own self and be responsible for preparation of a new day. Now get up this instant."

....You can't tell me what to do... even if you are my biological father...

"Okay fine. If you won't cooperate with me, I will just have to force you."

... like I'm... leaving this bed...

With that being said, Mr. Ryland entered the bedroom and started dragging the boy out into the hallways. Ronald just kept a straight face. Just a fantastic start of my day. The brunette's father first took him downstairs into the nearest room, which is the dining room, and fed him a waffle. Next, after Ronald finished eating his food, his father carried him back upstairs to where the CR is and began to wash him up. Ronald kept screaming in his mind, I hate this I hate this I hate this. Later his father dried, brushed, and dressed him up in a collared white shirt along with a vest and a tie with black slacks and shoes. Finally, before the torture ended, Mr. Ryland combed Ron's hair just so he could look neat and fresh on his first day of school.

"There. Now, don't you look so polished", smiled the father as he sighed in relief for he was able to finish cleaning up Ronnie with time to spare, "Oh don't forget your glasses. You know you can't leave the house without them or you'll get hurt."

Geez, dad, I'm not that blind...

As his father continued to finish fixing up Ronald, Violet kept watching him and smiled stating, "You sure do look sophisticated." She then giggled, while Ronald glared at her. I guess I'm going to boot camp.
