Throughout the whole day of school, everything seemed calm. The students were assiduous and diligent on their obligation. They were preparing for their futures, preparing for their Advanced Placement exams, performing with strong efforts, and enforcing themselves to work hard. Every student is happy and every student is stressed out, but it will all be worth it. All the students were prepared. Sadly, this only applied to the high school students on the lower level.
On the upper level of the school, where Ronald was at, the middle school students were chaotic. So many clicks; so many ignoramuses; so many loafers. For Ronald, the students were so irritating that he wanted to jump out of a window. Four days of pain until the weekend hits.
Ronald, first, endured the pain that P.E has to offer. On the first level was the GYM, and as Ronald approached it, he stopped in confusion staring at the keypad that was mounted on the wall, located on the left side of the double doors. Perplexed by the mechanism that was presented in front of him, someone tapped on his shoulder.
"Excuse me," the student stated, "You are in my way."
Ronald turned around and saw that it was the quiet student with the science fiction book. The student was tall -very tall- and slim, with a stern look that looks as if he is one of those stereotypical anime characters that wears glasses and is very ascetic when it comes to dealing with someone's nonsense. His hair and eyes, however, do not picture that by the fact that it is so red and his eyes are so green, making it look like as if he's a Christmas decor. Nonetheless, as Ronald moved aside to let the student passed, the ginger approached the keypad.
"I am assuming we are in the same classroom," the student asked as he removed his glasses to polish it, "Is it not?"
Ronald shrugged, not able to comprehend his question by the fact that he does not even know him, to begin with. Well except in advisory... but that does not count.
"Let me see your schedule," the student demanded.
With no hesitation, Ronald gave him the schedule. As the student gripped on the piece of paper, he analyzed it. After he analyzed it, he returned it to Ronald and started punching in the codes that were printed on the schedule. After the codes were inputted, the doors opened to a new location.
"This is where our class will take place," the student remarked as he stepped into the passage.
When Ronald entered the GYM, he was awed by the surroundings. The GYM was huge with complicated exercise materials scattered against the wall. His 'schoolmates' were there, excessively talking about random matters. He walked towards the group with his arms crossed, however, as he approached the group, everyone was quiet. Not again... why does it have to happen when I'm around... what do they think I am... a blind monster that only attacks when it hears a voice... It's not like I'm going to kill them or anything. Refusing to make eye contact, Ronald stared at the ground, waiting for the coach to arrive. When the bell rang, the coach entered with a rough look. Everyone turned to face her. The coach was wearing a gray sweater with navy shorts and her silvered hair was tied up into a ponytail.
"Carson," the coach called out. When the student approached the teacher, she whispered to the boy. The boy nodded seemingly to understand what is his task. Carson's attention, then, focused on the class. He cleared his throat and called them for attention.
"Good morning class," Carson announced, "My name is Carson Ibañez and I will be Coach Ibañez's translator because she does not trust the translator bots."
Wait, that's his mom... question mark...?
"Anyway, today we will not be getting into the fun stuff since we have to do a survey base on your fitness, health, etcetera, etcetera... So you will be going to the corridor on your left. There will be data pads where you will take your survey and in the next hour you will be assigned with your 'exercise buddy.' So now everyone... LET'S GET THIS MOVING, COME ON WE ARE WASTING DAYLIGHT HERE!"
