"Hello, RonRon," Violet greeted with joy.
Ronald looked at her with anxiety, trying to smile a bit. He, then, stared back at his desk as tears streamed down his eyes.
"Ronnie, I'm sorry," Violet stated with condolence, "I didn't leave you I swear! I was there... but you did not see me... I... Ronnie?"
Ronald ignored as he covered his face with his hair. It was early in the morning and he sat in his advisory room all alone. He told his teacher that he did not want to participate in the Pep Rally in a way of begging and crying. Seeing the look on Ron's face, she felt pity for the child. She, then, decided to allow him to stay in the classroom and offer coloring pages in order to keep him busy. As of now, Ronald is left in his classroom, crying out the pain he felt on the inside and on the outside. His throat still hurt from the last incident, however, that was not the worst one yet. Violet was still there trying to comfort him but was shut out. She remained silent watching him morosely, not knowing what to do. She, then, decided to leave him alone. Suddenly, Ronald started to contemplate out loud.
Why can't you be real...
"...what do you-"
Why can't you be real!?
"Ronnie..."
If you were real, I would not be like this! I would not be the stupid weirdo that talks to nothing! Why can't you be real!?
"But... but Ronnie... I'm right here."
But what if you're not... Violet... I still don't know what you are or why, but I want you to exist. I want to talk to you like a real person, I want to hang out with you like a real person... I want to hug you... I want you to be real... I want you to be real... If you here... physically... I wouldn't be the weirdo with no friends... I wouldn't be taunted on for being a doormat... I would have you by my side... Violet, Why can't you be real!? Why!? Just why!? Ronald's breakdown has become worse as he clenches his fingers onto the flat surface of the desk, closing his eyes really tight.
"Ron, if I was a human being then I won't-"
Suddenly there was a knock on the classroom door. Without hesitation, Ronald hid under Ms. Win's desk, hoping it was not the principal. He heard the doors slid open and the voices of two students.
"Ugh, I hate Pep Rallies," a student complained. "Why do they have to be so cringy?"
"I do not know nor do I care," the second student responded. "Just hurry and grab your jacket."
Oh no... Parker and Damien... why... why!? Ow! Ronald accidentally stood up and hit his head against the desk due to his anger.
"What was that," Damien asked.
"I do not know nor do I care," Parker stated in a sarcastic tone.
"Are you trying to mimic me because you are not really doing a pretty good job at it."
"Will you just shut up. Anyway, let's go before the principal sees us."
"Fine, but I swear I heard something."
When Ronald heard the door slid open and close, he assumed the two students left. He, then, exited out of his hiding spot and fix up his clothing. He was about to head back to his desk until he heard the door opened suddenly. Ronald froze still.
"Hold on," Damien exclaimed, "I think I left my-"
Seeing the mute standing there frightened as a rabbit, Damien smirked and called out to Parker.
"Oh, Parker! I think I found where the 'thump' was coming from."
When Parker entered the classroom, he saw Ronald and grinned.
