I hate my life...

Ronald covered his face and sighed hoping everything will be over soon until he realized he wasn't alone. He ignored that feeling and contemplated for a moment.

I hate myself... I hate everything about me... Why didn't Parker called me out when he had a chance?

"Geez, it's a good thing Parker lied to the principal, " someone whispered to themselves. Ronald looked up and started to look around. Who was that? He later stood up and started looking around.

"Crap," the stranger whispered out loud.

Suddenly, he heard the books fell from the shelves, along with a stranger who fell flat on the ground. As self-defense, Ronald took out a chip from his X-Wristlet and transformed it into a baseball bat. Ronald started to approach the stranger, ignoring the tears that kept overflowing from his eyes. The stranger got up and jumped with fear realizing that Ronald was staring at him. Ronald walked closer to the stranger while fixing his weapon at batting position. The stranger backed away and covered his face.

"No, wait," the stranger exclaimed, "It's me! Carson, from advisory! I sit behind you and we met like at the first day of school!"

Ronald paused for a moment and relaxed his shoulders as he tilted his head.

"Sorry if I scared you... I was not stalking you or anything!... I... I... wow this is awkward..."

He doesn't seem like a threat. Feeling a bit calm by Carson's presence, Ronald put his bat away. There was an awkward silence as the two students kept staring at each other in the dark for quite a while. Unable to bear the silence, Carson began to speak.

"...let me start over... Hi, my name is Carson...

Ronal waved as a response of 'hello.'

"... um... how are you...?"

Ronald stared at him for a while and responded. <What do you think?>

"Oh that's cool... so you're fine..."

<No, I am not fine.>

Carson did not say anything but responded with a nod and a smile.

<Do you understand me?>

Carson smiled.

<You do not understand me.> Ronald glared at the boy and crossed his arms while raising a brow.

"... oh um... sorry... I never really learned how to do sign language... I thought me smiling would... never mind..."

Accepting as this to be their last conversation, Ronald started to walk away, back to his depression corner. He, then, sat down and covered his face, hoping Carson would leave him alone. Instead, the student approached the mute and sat next to him.

"Aren't you going to go to class?"

Ronald ignored and was at the same time annoyed.

"I know you can't talk so um..."Carson turned on his X-Wristlet and pulled out two chips. Unable to activate them, he showed them to Ronald. "Here, you can use this... it's a pen and a notebook chip... you can use it to write what you want to say..."

Ronald contemplated for a moment and then grabbed the two chips. He activated the chips and started writing on the notebook. Once he finished scribbling, he showed it to Carson.

<Aren't YOU going to class?>

"I always skip my classes... Sometimes I do it for fun and sometimes to help my mom at the gym."
