The digit-clock struck 7:00 a.m.
*Meep Meep Meep*
Crap... no... let me... sleep, Ronald contemplated as he tried to block the sound of the alarm.
October 25, 2117, was the day when the school celebrates the United Nations.
Not wanting to deal with his father's bickering, Ronald forced himself to get up and started to prepare himself for school. After he finished fixing himself up, he went downstairs and noticed that there were bottles of beer scattered around the living room floor. I'm not surprised. When he reached the kitchen he saw his father, asleep on the table. Ronald stared at him for a moment and started poking him. His father woke up and looked at his son confused. Ronald pointed at his X-Wristlet, showing that it is time to take his son to school. When Mr. Rhyland got up, he looked around. Then, he realized that his son is going to be late for school, so he sprinted back and forth trying to fix himself up and later carried his son into the car.
"Sorry, about that sport," Mr. Rhyland apologized as he started the car.
Ronald just shrugged and stared out into the window, thinking about the trees that surrounded the entire city. He was then interrupted by Violet, who started telling him about the trees and its leaves. Ronald did not mind when Violet repeats the same sentences over and over again. He understands that she is forgetful sometimes.
When they arrived at the school, Ronald got off but was stopped by his father.
"So, son I won't-"
<I know. I know. You have work and you are coming home late.>
"Oh, well I guess I do not-"
<No dad. I do not need you to remind me of anything. I am not a child anymore.>
"Well, okay. Just... have a nice day today, okay..."
<Will do.>
"Well, see you later."
Waving goodbye to his father, Ronald approaches the school entrance. As he enters, he saw that the school has added new decors. There were multi-colored banners spread across the hallways along with balloons, streamers, and mini flags. When he entered his classroom, Ms. Win was there with an eager look.
"Good morning, Mr. Smith," she exclaimed.
Ronnie waved in response and headed for his seat. Violet appeared and smiled. She looked around, seeing how the classroom was beautifully decorated. Flags of the countries were mounted against the wall and balloons of different colors were spread across the ground. Viole cannot help but admire the colors. Meanwhile, Ronald was practicing his drawing skills. He thought it was good at first, but after not looking at it for five minutes, he was filled with disgust. He decided to stop drawing for a while and looked at Violet who was staring at the ceiling. Ronald snapped his finger and asked what's wrong. In response, Violet smiled softly and laughed a little.
"Today is so colorful," Violet stated as she knelt in front of the brunette and placed her elbows on Ron's desk. "It's strange how this makes me feel happy."
Why is that?
"I don't know... it just reminded me of..." Violet paused for a moment, then sighed. "Are you excited for the activities this school has in store?"
Ronald nodded slowly and looked at her in confusion.
Violet giggled. "Well, since there will be presentations, you should... well introduce yourself to your class."
