Can you not believe that Violet!?, Ronald thought out loud as he stomped through the hallways.

"Ronnie calm down you're going to hurt your head," Violet asserted, "It's break time. Why don't you eat before fifth period."

Violet... I will never eat the food here nor would I- *stomach growls*... why...

As Ronnie's stomach started to growl he started to crave for a cake. Not again. So he went to the first floor and headed towards the cafeteria. In the cafeteria was a massive amount of students from different grade levels associating with each other about random topics. Ronnie quickly looked around to find where the nourishments were being served. He then saw a line and approached it observing how the students were receiving their food from a weird kind of mechanism. There was a hefty metal table against the wall with holo-screens hovering over it. The students were tapping on the holo-screens one by one choosing the meals they want to devour. Once they have finished placing their order, their meals immediately appeared on the metal table, allowing the students to place them on their tray. Man, that's neat, I guess. After Ronald ordered his food, he picked up his tray and faced towards the dining tables. Now the issue is where do I sit.... man... the same type of scenario seen on every animation series I have ever seen. Indeed, the brunette was right. As he looked around to find a place to sit, he tried to avoid eye contact. Oh, I guess I can sit there. Ronald contemplated as he saw an open spot that can be seen all the way in the back of the cafeteria near a corner. He drew near the spot and sat down to eat his food. When he finished, he placed the tray on the side and pressed a blue button under the metal table causing the tray to diminish. Now what... I have like fifteen minutes to spare.

"Well, you can talk to me," Violet remarked.

Startled by her, Ronnie contemplated: Will you please stop scaring me like that... it's annoying...

"I'm sorry... I just thought... if we can talk so that you won't feel lonely."

Won't people see me as insane...

"Ronnie I don't think you would care. I mean, who cares if they think you're a loon. I just wanted to talk to you because I felt like we haven't hung out that much since you came to California."

<I guess so, but you have been following me around. Does that not count as hanging around.>

"No, not really... I just miss when we were back at your old home..."

<I see.> Ronald gestured as he realized that he has been isolating his friend for a while due to the pressure his father kept putting on him. Ronald stared at the students who were conversing with each other. He suddenly felt weird watching how everyone is happy despite the fact they are in this wretched place. He does not like the emotions he is feeling by the fact that his mother told him to never have this sense or else it will consume him. Ronnie ignored and focus his thoughts on Violet. He wanted to do something for her since she has been a generous companion. Then it hit him. Ronnie tapped on the table, trying to catch Violet's attention.

"Hmm."

<In the weekend do you want to go out somewhere?>

"... why..."

<You said we do not hang out that much so I am deciding that we should go somewhere. Your choice.>

"So is this... um like..."

<No I am not asking you that I just want to hang out with you or you can say no I do not really care.>

Violet thought for a moment and gasped, "Oh can we go to the park... I really want to do something there."
