The weeks passed as if it were nothing, however, every circumstances school has to present, hurt Ronald in every way. His Saturday was a blast, he enjoyed spending time with his best friend. He was happy. He used to be happy until the next following days fell into pieces. August was a troublesome month for Ronald to 'enjoy.' Even with his father's 'support,' Ronald was left to the dust enduring the endless sufferings Parker, Damien, Tama, and Maxime has used to punish the poor brunette. The second week was worst than the first, especially when the whole school noticed 'Red Wire's' presence which made it difficult for Ronald to have a normal stroll in the hallways. Ever since everyone discovered that a 'criminal' is entering this school, everyone began to treat him the same way Ronald's rivals treated him. Even one of the substitutes were having a close eye on him, discriminating him in a way that made Ronald feel different than any ordinary student. Ronald thought he would adjust by September, however, he was wrong. Throughout the month of August, Ronald faced pain and agony and was constantly bullied and shamed. Violet was there by his side but was sometimes not there. Even though she told him that she will always be there, sometimes she is not. Ronald does not know why but rather not question.
During P.E., the class' objective for the month of August was to test their fitness. Ronald hated that idea due to the fact that he is being forced to exercise. The first hour was not bad since all the class did some stretches, but once they reached the second hour, the brunette felt as if he was being cooked in an oven. The class was taken outside to do some sprinting. As the class began their objective, half of the students immediately became tired. Coach Ibañez did not like how the students were reacting towards their assignment, so she decided to 'encourage' them. As for Ronald, he was not in those pack of unfit students. He may be lazy, but he is not willing to take being scolded by a teacher in a language he does not understand. As he is catching up to the students that were in the league, he decided to walk for a moment a take in a few breaths. Man, I am seriously out of shape and this is only the first lap. Ronald decided to take a stroll while placing his arms on the back of his head, waiting for his energy to come back. He sighed looking at the sky until suddenly he was jabbed on the side of his stomach.
"What's wrong you hoser," Maxime shouted, "Already, tired!"
Ignoring his insult, Ronald suddenly realized that he was way behind. He immediately sprinted as fast as he could. When he finally caught up, his legs were in pain and he was close to collapsing. Maxime was running at his side staring at him with an evil look.
"Aww is the small child tired from all the running."
Ronald ignored and sprinted away from Maxime. He neither wanted to converse nor be near the poser; however, he was not able to escape from him by the fact Maxime was taking the league.
"Hah, and before you said you were strong," Maxime remarked. "Sure you're still strong, but not functionally strong."
Angered by that insult, Ronald sprinted ahead by using up all his strength. I am not that weak! Ronald felt rage in his chest and a shortage of oxygen as he ran and ran without stopping. Everything started to turn into a blur and his vision started to grow dark. After a few steps on the track, everything turned dark. All he could hear was laughing and words stating "Wow, you are easily hot tempered."
_____
Walking on a path
Was a boy with a dream.
He watches the birds pass by
and smiled with a gleam.
He saw his friend ahead
who was waving for him to come,
but as he approaches her with great speed
his legs started to grow numb.
