× × Clary Nightingale × ×
Growing up I had to deal with six, loving, annoying at times, cocky brothers. So when I entered preschool, I expected to make friends with girls. That was a fail. Even at a young age girls were so cruel and mean. Just like they are now.
What I didn't expect when I walked in with Zachari, was to make friends with two boys on the first, then two more the next day, then finally three boys. Seven boys in the span of one week. Seven new friends who grew up along with me and became the bad boys of the school.
We shared everything, from stories to lunches, to coloring books to shoes. Yeah, even that. By the time we entered middle school I was known as a tomboy. I didn't really mind. What's bad with that? Absolutely nothing.
I liked it. They were better than girls. We joked, made fun of people together. It's just how we were. Then we entered high school, that's when I was sure they would leave me. But they haven't, if possible they're even more protective with me now than ever.
So as I sat here on my bed, with eight boys scattered around my bedroom. I wondered, what would I do without them in my life?
"Will you give me that." Maddox snickered at Flash and smacked him in the back of his head once he retrieved his precious phone back. Kissing it for that dramatic affect.
"So who's the girl this week?" Flash smirked teasingly and nudged him. I scrunched my nose up in disgust and shook my head at the two.
I know they're boys, bad boys to be exact. But I never liked hearing them talk about their intimate life with or when I'm around. It disgusted me. I just didn't want to hear it.
"Will you shut it?" Zachari snapped at both of them. Tearing his green/brown eyes away from his video games and glaring at them.
If anything Zac was the most protective over me. Which is weird seeing as he's the youngest of all of us.
"He's right. Clary is in the room." Emmet snickered at both of them. Smacking them both on their heads since he was closer.
"It's my room." I warned them. They all chuckled and put their hands up in surrender.
"I didn't say anything." Zeke said in defense
"Me either." Jeremy, Emmet, Vinnie, Klark and Zachari said all in perfect sync.
"If you guys were this in sync, you would have made it in the school's talent show." I giggled remembering last year when they tried out as a boy band. It was a joke, but definitely funny.
"It was planned Clary, we would've rocked it if we wanted to." Maddox assured me, standing up from my bean bag chair and sitting down next to me.
I scoffed, "you guys sang baby come back by Vanessa Hudgens, there's no way you could have rocked it."
"Um yes. Have you seen our bodies?" Flash snickered and pulled his shirt up, revealing his toned abs which he has been working hard on for the past two years.
"Yes, and I must say I'm not impressed." I shrugged knowing I hit a nerve on all of them. Except Zachari. He didn't really care about appearances. The others? Don't even get me started.
