"Maddox?" I repeated with wide, confused eyes. He smiles sheepishly and cups my face. My expression softens. "I missed you!"

"I've missed you too bebits." He chuckles and pulls me into a bone crushing hug. I inhale his familiar scent, a scent that reminded me so much of home. Being in his arms is home.

"What are you doing here?" I can't wipe the smile off my face as I pull away to look at him. He bites his lip and shrugs.

"I can't visit one of my best friends?" He feigns hurt and shakes his head. "Am I not welcomed anymore?"

"You're always welcomed." I slap his shoulder and laugh. His eyes seem to shine brighter than the last time we saw each other and I immediately feel a weight get lifted off my shoulders.

I was truly happy to know that us splitting up wasn't taking its toll on him. I would really hate to see him down because we are no longer together like we've been all our lives.

He pulled me into another hug and exhaled out. "How are you doing here? No ones bothering you right?" He keeps his questions to a minimum, but I knew all too well that he was dying to ask way more questions than that.

I'm grateful that he's taking it slow though.

"I'm fine." I assure him, "you know that no one can mess with me. And if they do I'll personally make sure to ruin everything they stand for."

"That's my girl." He chuckles softly and pulls away from our warm embrace. He smiles down fondly at me and sighs, "I really missed you. The boys too of course." He made a face and nodded.

"Did they come with you too?" I ask in a hopeful voice. He rolls his eyes and pulls me out the school doors.

Outside stood the rest of my seven dorks. Lined up perfectly as they held onto balloons and chocolate. Flash was the only one who held up two watermelon Arizona's in the air. Singing some song I don't know at the top of his lungs.

I chuckle in disbelief, "Shouldn't you all be at college? I really am a bad influence." I say as they all run up to me and embrace me at the same time.

"We missed you so much!" Zeke groans, kissing my cheek. I nod my head, letting him know that I missed them as well.

"The drive here was exhausting, but totally worth it now that I get to see you." Vinnie chirps, tying the white string of the black balloon onto my wrist. His tongue sticking out slightly, something he always did when he was concentrating.

"Thank you " I squish his chubby cheeks and laugh as Flash and Zachari tie two balloons on some strands of my hair, lifting it up in the air.

"If I fly away you all better catch me when I come down." I warn, pointing an accusing finger at each and everyone of them as they continued to tie their balloons on a part of my body.

"Always." Klark grins, him squishing my cheeks now.

"Weren't you the one who said we should just ditch and not visit her earlier?" Emmet crosses his arms and glares at the now red haired boy.

"Listen fuck face, screw off." Klark flips him and and grins innocently at me. I chortle and shake my head.

"Okay shut up." Jeremy groans, cupping my face in his palms. "don't you guys notice something different about Clary?"

"Now that you mention it. . ." Zachari trails off, squinting his eyes at me. He gasps loudly, "is it a boy?"

Klark snickers, already knowing the answer to that but remains silent. Shrugging when Maddox gives him a side glance. I slap Jeremy's hands away. "or maybe I'm just really happy to see you guys again?" I snort unattractively.
