I sigh in annoyance. Typing the answer in again only for my laptop, again, to shut off and restart for the fifth time this morning.

I squeal angrily, pushing it off my lap so that it lands harshly on my bed instead and pull on my hair in frustration.

Why must this happen to me? I need to turn this in by tomorrow and my stupid laptop is just now acting up?

Like what the fuck?

"Having trouble?" My roommate snorts, glancing at my poor laptop warily. "did it restart again?"

"Yes! It doesn't even let me save anything so I have to answer all the questions again everytime it does turn on but it restarts just before I could finish." I puff my cheeks out.

"It looks quite old, how long have you had it for?" She inquires, sitting up on her bed.

"I got it on my fifteenth birthday? So three years?" I grunt, glaring at the stupid device.

"It's not too old then. Still I think you should save up for a new one. One with more space too." She suggests, pushing herself off her bed and disappears into the small restroom we share.

I furrow my brows in stress and exhale deeply. Thank God it's the weekend so that I don't have to actually turn it in until Monday morning.

The sound of my ringtone erupts the silent bubble that had engulfed me. Snapping me back to reality.

Allowing the video call I smile brightly when his face comes up on the screen.

"Hello hello!" He beams cheerfully at me, waving cutely through the phone.

I chortle, "put the phone away from your face. You're too close."

"My face is so cute I look good even from this close." He smirks, wiggling his brows at me but still backs away from the camera. "how's college?"

"It's fun, I like it more than high school." I breath out, a smile tugging on my lips as I remembered a certain someone.

"Why are you smiling like that?" Klark inquires, squinting his eyes at me in suspicion. He gasps. "Clary do you like someone?!"

I scrunch my face, "you make it sound like I'm a robot?"

"You've never liked anyone since we've known you. But wait! It's true then? You like someone? Who is it? What's he like? Or she I don't judge!" He babbles on and on, not even allowing me to answer a question.

"It's a he?" I manage to say. His face lights up. "you can't tell the other boys okay!?"

He throws his head back in laughter and nods. "Your secrets are always safe with me you know that. You are going to have to tell them when we meet up."

"I know." I exhale loudly. There was no way I'd be able to hide the fact that I like someone from the boys, they know me too well.

"Does he treat you well though?" He interrogates. "because if he doesn't I swear I will cut his genita-"

"He does!" I insist. I exhale sharply. "he's amazing Klark, I-I don't even know how? Like, this is a foreign feeling for me." I pout.
