Your love

You sat there for a good while before you found an easy way back up. Once you made it back onto the platform, David engulfed you in a hug, which felt like it shattered your spine.

"David. You're hurting me."

He let go and before you knew it he planted his lips to yours and you shared the most passionate kissed you've ever received.

When you broke off you stumbled back. "David, I-i still don't know about this. I'm completely in the dark."

He takes your hand. "Then let me bring ye to the light. I miss your love."

He walked you to a nearby 24 hours waffle house, where you set down your heels and wig, and sat in a small yellow booth.

David brought you back a small coffee and set it down. "Now how about o explain what you saw. Yes we kissed. But I didn't kiss her, she said that you weren't important to me and it hurt me feelings. Then I told her we were still together which she made a move on me, saying 'What girlfriend?' then she kissed me. I know that's probably not the story you had in mind or wanted to hear, but it's the plain truth." he said in one long winded breath. "I love you. I don't know what else I can say to ya."

You inhale sharply. "That's what I did want to hear. That I wasn't the problem, or I wasn't the reason you decided to leave."

"You are litrally perfect."

You chuckle at the non existent 'e' in the word.

"Is somethin funny?" he smiled.

You loved his smile. It wasn't forced. It wasn't pushed into the conversation. It was natural. It was beautiful. God's gift to you.

You wave him off. "It's a little bit of a long story." You take a ship of the coffee.

He set your phone on the table. "This belongs to you. I like your lock screen, it's as far as I could get it."

You click on the screen and it was a picture of David. "I figured you'd like it. I feel like a fifteen year old fan girl."

He chuckles. "You look like one too."

Your eyes widen. "Have you talked to Aindreas or Brock since we broke off?"

He shook his head. "I have not."

You laugh.

"Do you want to go home? It's late."

You nod. "Yeah. I need sleep. I'm running on a solid 2.6 hours of sleep."

He nods and takes your hand and you walk back to his car.

You walk in the door at approximately 3:28 a.m.

You said you'd crash on the couch if that was okay.

David grabbed your wrist and hoisted you up the stairs. "No, you need a bed." he brought you to his room and playfully shoved you in. "Now this can go one of two ways."

You raise an eyebrow.

"I can go sleep on the couch-"

You grab his hand and pull him onto the bed with you. "Stay."

He smiled and nodded. "So option two."

You curl up into him and you fell asleep peacefully. That was the most peaceful you've been in at least two months since you'd met this little rascal.

The next morning.....

You woke up to see David wasn't there. Which was normal, because he always woke up early. You roll over to face the window and see a bird flutter past.

You sit up and take a deep breath in. This isn't where you need to be right now.

You open the window carefully, you scale the drop and grab your heels.

You had done this a few times before.

You close the window on the way out, and land in the dew filled grass.

You walk slowly back to your small motel room. Once you sit on the bed, your phone rings, but you choose to ignore it.

It was David. Of course it was David.

You practically jumped out of his window, but you needed to pack your close, because your plane back to America left in two days, and if you were staying with David you needed your shit.

You finish grabbing all of your things. You were going to get Brock's, but it seemed he already got his stuff.

You sling your duffle bag over your shoulder and start walking back to David's house. It would be a good twenty minutes before you got there, but this time you had shoes on.

Sadly it was your heels. You were going to change, but you didn't want to toss the still soggy dress in with your clean clothes.

You arrive and knock on the door.

Aindreas answers it and looks you up and down. "Mona?"

"(Y/N). Nice to meet ya."

"Like David's (Y/N)?"

"I'm pretty sure."

"David! Door!" he walked away as David ran down the steps almost tripping.

"Where did you go?" he sounded eager to know.

"I just needed my things." You raise the duffle bag.

"Why are you still wearing that?"

You notice he has changed.

"Because, I have my reasons. Where's your bathroom?"

He motioned down the hall and you walk in, close the door, and set your duffle bag on the counter.

You start by washing all the makeup you were wearing off, then by brushing your luscious locks.

You then strip off the dress and set it aside. You grab a pair of tight fitting jeans and a green flannel out of your bag.

You finish by smiling sweetly into the mirror and zipping your duffle bag.

You had put the wet dress in a plastic bag and you would deal with it at home.

You exit the bathroom and walk back up to David's room.

He laughs. "I'm surprised."

"At what?"

"I'm surprised you didn't jump out the window."

You smile. "It's on the first floor, I like a challenge." You retort.

You sit down on the bed next to him and he offers to make you breakfast, like you did many times for him in LA.

You accept then accompany him to the kitchen.
