You listen intently to what he was telling you. It was like a story, it didn't seem real, but it was at the same time. Then the nurse walked in and spoke to him quietly.

"Good news," he said now holding a clipboard. "We can go home."

'Home?' You mouthed to yourself. Plastering on a large smile to match his.

"Yeah! Let's go." he signed his name of the clipboard and set it on the desk as we walked by.

This entire concept was unreal, you of all people wouldn't be getting married soon. This was some sick joke.

You drove in silence, watching the buildings pass, and soon David pulled into a small paved driveway.

"We are here!" he said happily.

This looked like a house that was on the market a fee month's ago, but you never got a call back, as far as you remembered you do not live here.

You both walked in and you were appalled, it looked nothing like it did at the open house, it wasn't trashed anymore.

"Do you live here?" You touched the doorframe.

"No, you do." he said sitting on the couch.

You look down the hallways and in some doors, looking at everything. Soaking it all in.

"OH MY GAWD!" You notice your setup. "It makes so much sense."

David rushed into the room. "What?"

"Daithi. How could I forget one of my best friends. Nogla. That was hurting my brain I knew I knew that voice."

He looked a little happy, not what you were expecting. "David. It's David."

"Well duh I just didn't put it together."

He nods. "Maybe you should change."

"Why? We just started having a civilized conversation."

"I need some space."

You sulked out of the room. Getting changed quickly and sitting down on the bed. "Did I do something wrong?" You say, looking at your hands.

You then drifted off to sleep.

David walked in at around 6 in the morning, he wouldn't have walked in if he wouldn't have heard your faint sobs.

"(Y/N)? What's wrong?"

"I just- I just had a bad dream don't worry about it."

He sat down, and you felt the beds weight shift.

"You can tell me, I promise."

You sighed, wiping tears from your eyes with your sleeve.

"I was sitting alone in a room and everything was fine. Then you were there, and-" you lost your breath.

"Keith?"

You nod. "He-he was holding a crowbar and he-" you choked back a sob.

"He hit me with it? Then stabbed my neck by any chance?"

You nod. "How would you know that?"

"It's a nightmare you've had before. I have listened to you tell it to me, I've listened."

He laid down beside you. "It will be okay I promise."

"Can-can I have a hug?"

He nods and pulls you into a soft embrace. It felt familiar, almost normal.
