Chapter 45 - Beshie

*Aya's POV*

Like seriously Allie?! You were even chatting me this morning asking me to come over and prep for this meeting eh ikaw 'tong lutang. Sabaw.

Alam kong Miss Kaye noticed her the whole time. Magkatapat lang sila eh. Knowing Miss K, 'di ka naman niya kakausapin agad-agad if may problema siyang nakikita. Without you knowing, she's going to look after you. Sisiguraduhin niyang you're still on the right track. The only time na kakausapin ka niya is if kailangan nang tawagin ang attention mo especially if it's already affecting both individual and team's performance. This, unfortunately, is one of those times.

Nakakakaba ang atmosphere sa room.

"What's going on between you two?"

Napatingin ako kay Allie na gaya ko, gulat din sa tanong ni Miss Kaye.

"What do you mean Miss?" tanong ni Allie.

"Alright. I have been observing you two since Monday. Hindi kayo nag-uusap."

"We do Miss." sabi ko. Because, really, we are talking.

"Yeah, we do. Aya here is always reaching out via chat and email."

Bakit niya na naman ako nililigtas? Dagdag na naman 'to sa listahan ko ng mga 'bakit'.

Bakit nga ba Aya?

"Hmmm. Chat and email. So, what Steph confirmed is right then. Hindi nga kayo nag-uusap in person."

Hindi na kami nakasagot ni Allie. Pareho na lang kaming nagkatinginan at napayuko pagkatapos.

Guilty.

Pero 'di ka niya nilaglag Aya.

"Allie, I remember you told me you can handle Aya. And, Aya, I don't want to lose another VP. Whatever it is going on between you two, you better get that fixed ASAP."

Pareho na lang kaming tumango. Naunang lumabas si Miss Kaye. Naiwan tuloy ulit kami ni Allie in this awkward situation. I just realized, ngayon lang pala kami ulit naiwang solo sa room.

Walang umimik ni isa sa amin until biglang pumasok ang bago kong "beshie", si Steph.

"Allie, I'm sorry. I feel like Miss Kaye has to know kasi 'di ba we should all work together?"

Bullshit talaga ng babaeng ito. Sorry for the word. Pabibo. Kupal. Epal.

Si Allie lang naman kausap niya and she's only asking Allie's forgiveness. Parang wala nga ako sa room na 'to kung makapag-sorry siya kay Allie eh. Ang touchy.

Alam mo 'yong naghahalo-halo na 'yong frustrations ko tapos samahan pa ng inis dahil napagalitan ka ng boss mo 'di dahil 'di mo nagagawa trabaho mo but because there are people na sobrang bullshit talaga.

They're both an eye sore right now. I just can't stand it.
