Chapter Twenty Five: When There Was Me And You..

When It's time for souls to meet,there's nothing on Earth that can prevent them from meeting,no matter where each may be located.

"Sorry did I offended you"Manik said not sounding sorry at all. Nandini knew she needed to handle this matter carefully after all unlike him she cannot forget the fact that Suhana was in love with Manik--so instead she said "No you didn't Mr. Malhotra."

"My Amms had chosen Arman for me and she is not only my grandma but she means world to me just as much I mean everything to her. I have full faith on her. She will always take decisions which will be for my happiness.
And honestly I don't see anything wrong with this. She had always made correct decision for me--and I trust her--more than I trust myself "

"Really is that the reason why you agreed to getting married to someone whom you know nothing about"'Manik said sternly.

"WOW!!!"Nandini said mockingly. Manik was about to say something but before that she snapped back at him "THIS--coming from someone who himself agreed to get marry to someone he hardly knows.."

Nandini's accusations hit him hard and made him flinch. Though he didn't meant to hurt her but eventually he ended up hurting her and it was quite evident on her face.He could clearly see that even she was hurt just as much as he was.

So closing his eyes he sighed and muttered "I am sorry ..I really didn't mean to offend you."This time his apology seemed genuine to her.

"It's okay and I am sorry that somehow or the other I become the reason for spoiling your moments with Suhana.."Nandini's replied which confused him.

"What"Now it was Manik's turn to get confused. He couldn't understand where she was leading with this conversation because honestly he had no clue what she was talking about so he asked "what do you mean"

"Somehow one way or the other I always end up coming between you two."Nandini looked away from him and then sighing she continued "Take today for example--right now you should be having lunch with Suhana but instead here you are stuck with me..and even that night.."

Nandini couldn't continue anymore and she looked down. Meanwhile Manik's breath hitched the moment she mentioned "that night". But of course since Nandini was too busy in feeling sorry she didn't saw how Manik's face lit up due to happiness.

Manik was so ecstatic that it almost chocked him. He couldn't say anything because his emotions made him speechless. He was feeling as if he was on seventh heaven--because clearly she remembered that night too and she felt that spark between them just as much as he did.

Getting no response from him embarrassed Nandini even further. "You don't have to say anything I know that night you came to see Suhana.."Nandini said while she continued to look down.

And that halted Manik's happiness. Finally he was able to connect the dots. He realised what she meant.

OH GOD..WHY --SERIOUSLY--WHY DO YOU HAVE TO MAKE THE MIND OF WOMEN SO COMPLICATED.

Manik couldn't believe that she was thinking like this. Did she really believed that he was there for Suhana--and man was she really feeling embarrassed that she intruded his so called "PRIVATE MOMENTS" with Suhana,

And in that moment Manik's heart took over

AND HERE I THOUGHT THAT I WAS THE ULTIMATE MORON BUT I GUESS I HAVE FOUND MY ULTIMATE MATCH IN THAT DEPARTMENT AS WELL.
