Chapter Thirty Six : Me Vs You

Don't mistake silence for weakness. Smart people don't plan big moves out loud.

"I need to go...I need to leave"she said while she adjusted her inner ware and then her dress.

"Nandini..."Manik tried to stop her...but before he could say anything Nandini turned to look at him and said "Don't--please don't...I can't do this..We can't do this..it's wrong...it's wrong" and shaking her head she left the room.

Manik couldn't believe it.Just few seconds ago she was in his arms kissing the living the daylight out of him..dominating him..savouring him..and now--she walked out on him--AGAIN.

He just didn't know how to react--whether to scream or cry--whether to destroy everything around him or to punch something continuously--he needed to get all this anger,confusion and the feeling of rejection out of his system.

But of course he knew he can't do anything of these things because he can't let anyone know about the tornado building inside him. He needed to calm down--at least for the moment.

He needed to talk to her--Yes--Nandini--he needed to talk to Nandini--she is the only one who can calm him right now --who can put off this burning rage that was coursing they his entire body.

He needed answers from her--and she can't run away from him anymore--she can't leave him alone --she can't ran away from love--she can't just walk in and walk out whenever she feels like --NO--NOT THIS TIME.

How can she say that whatever happened between them was wrong..how can she even think that they aren't meant to be..how can she just deny everything.

"Nothing ever felt so right Nandini..nothing ever felt so correct..I know you want me..just as much as I want you..I know what you feel for me Nandini--and this time I won't let you run..from your true feelings..from your love..from Me."

NOT THIS TIME MISS NANDINI MURTHY..NOT ANYMORE.

"This time she has to accept that she feels something for me..she had to give us a chance..she had to give out feeling a chance..she had to give our love a chance. This time I won't let her walk out on us without giving our relationship a chance. She has to listen..she has to give us a chance..she just had to.."

Once he decided what he needed to do he got off the couch and walked out of the room.

He needed to get to her before she could get back to the hall where everyone was present ..because he knew if she succeeded then he won't get the opportunity to talk to her..and that would give her ample opportunity and time to think and convince herself that all that happened was a momentary indiscretions.

He needed to confront her right away so that she could be forced to think things through. She for once could see what the reality was --and for once--and not to run away from it.

He started running through the corridors looking for her--but wasn't able to find her. He thought maybe she went back so he went in the direction of the dining hall but instead of stepping in he just peeped in --just to check whether she was there or not.

But he couldn't see her. That confused him. Where did she go. He had her number..but of course she won't pick it up. But he had no other way to get to her. So he dialled her number.
