Chapter 6...

I pulled up to Sydney house around three to help with whatever she had planned. As I got out Art made his way over to help with the cooler boxes and deck chairs I bought along, request of her majesty, Sidney!

'Where is Sydney?' I asked him

'Ah well that's the million dollar question. I haven't seen her since we got home after school.' He laughed

'Really?'

'Yup. And if the boyfriend and best friend can't keep track of her then I think all hope is lost.' He added rolling his eyes. As if sensing she was been spoken about she pulled up behind me in her car.

'Hey people!'

'Where have you been?'

'Nowhere, just picking up a few last minute things and some strays.' She laughed as Danny and an extremely good looking guy climbed out of her car.

'What have I told you about picking up strange men on your travels?' Art asked walking over to greet the new Mystery man.

'This is my brother, Noah.' Danny filled in as Art shook his hand.

'Pleasure to meet you.' Art said.

'Like wise man.' Noah replied before getting a crate of beer out the trunk. 'Where's the ice?'

'Right this way my man.' Art laughed leading him off around the side of the house. Leaving Danny to help me with my things, which he had conveniently left next to my car.

'Hey Sydney, hope it's ok but I invite Kiera along too?' He asked as we followed the other two around the house.

'Yeah sure no problem.' She replied giving me a look.

After dropping the stuff off for the guys to sort out, Sydney dragged me into the house and up to her bedroom.

'Did you see Noah?'

'Was hard not to.' I laughed.

'Oh man, if I wasn't so in love with Art I would have jumped him in a heartbeat.' She moaned. 'You know he opened the door when I went to get them in nothing but boxers, it took me a full minute to say anything that resembled anything other than a gobbledigook.'

'Ha ha you never?'

'Yea and you know what he did?'

'No, what?'

'He asked me to close my mouth and say something or get off his porch.'

I burst out laughing. 'Classic!'

'It's not funny, I nearly died right there on the spot. If Danny hadn't walked up at that point and saved me I would have literally melted into the floor.'

I was laughing so hard, tears were streaming down my cheeks.

'Stop laughing Rhy, the guy as the body of an all American surfer, washboard abs, arms that could literally sweep you off your feet, I mean I got the full picture slapped straight in my face.'

'Well you should see Mr Taylor in board shorts then...' My words froze in the air as I tried to determine where that had just come from. Sydney giggled pulling my thoughts back to the present.

'Well we are just surrounded by gorgeous men Rhy, what is a girl to do hey?' She giggled again. At the same time we both sprung off the bed and ran to the bathroom laughing. Time for a makeup, hair etc check.

Twenty minutes later we headed outside in our bikinis, looking super model perfect as we sat down on the lounge chairs to catch a few rays. The rest of the girls had arrived and immediately joined us and as Sophie and Lauran sat down the conversation immediately turned to Noah. It didn't matter that all their boyfriends were a few feet away surrounding the BBQ, he was hot topic number one. At four o'clock Tori arrived with the rest of the guys and made her way over to us.
