"Mind if I sit here?" I looked up to see Veronica standing over the table with a tray of food.

"Please". Betty gestured towards the empty seat next to her.

"So how's your first day?" Jade asked in a sarcastic tone.

"Jade". I warned.

"What? I was only asking?"

"It's not what you said it's how you said it". I rolled my eyes.

"It was fine thank you". Veronica answered.

"Oh yeah thanks for snapping at Cheryl like that". I smiled.

"No she deserved it". Veronica stated.

"Yeah". Jade shot out of her seat of stormed off into the building.

"Did I say something?" Veronica asked worried.

"No". I turned back round to face Veronica. "Over the holidays she lost her best friend, and on top of the Cheryl put on Twitter a picture of Jade and Chuck and said she was a slut and begged him to have sex with him". I sighed.

"That's horrible". Veronica said saddened. "Jason Blossom was her best friend wasn't he?" Veronica asked.

"Yeah they were like brother and sister". I admitted.

"They grew up together like me and Archie". Betty pointed at me and I smiled at her remark.

"I hope you will all be coming to the dance tonight, I've personally told the principle not to cancel it, Jason wouldn't want that". She looked down when she said his name, but soon perked back up. "You make sure to tell that sister of yours to come, oh but not with all the football team I want a date". She smirked.

"You know what Cheryl, she's a good person she's not a slut like you, she may be popular but not all of them are like you, and Jason knew it". I shot up and stated my point. Kevin and Veronica clapped for me while Betty just watched.

"How dare you bring my brother into this". She snapped back.

"Jason loved Jade like a sister Cheryl, but you? You Your his real sister so show some respect by not hurting the ones he loved." Betty snapped. And again Kevin and Veronica clapped.

"Whatever". She snapped her head round and walked away.

"Wow". Veronica said. "Jade really has a hard time doesn't she".

"When Jason was here he would stick up for her even against Cheryl". I sat back down.

"I don't think Cheryl liked that". Betty stated as she also sat down.

"Cheerleader tryouts". Veronica turned to Betty.

"No way". She shook her head.

"Oh come on". Veronica pleaded.

"Is cheerleading still a thing?" Kevin asked sarcastically.

"Because last time I tried Cheryl said I was to fat. Betty admitted.

"Won't hurt to try". Veronica shrugged.

"Okay okay". Betty admitted defeat.

"Yay". Veronica clapped.
