"Jason never loved me like he loved you". Polly reassured me.
"But he was going to run away with you". I snapped.
"He was going to take me to a safe place, somewhere where he knew I would be ok, to his aunts house, he had let her know I was coming and then he was going to come right back here and propose to you". She stated. "He loved you". She promised me before looking back at Betty. "At the house they said everyone had their had an angel, and I think Betty's mine". She smiled at Betty who smiled back.
"I have to go". I grabbed my bag and stormed out of pops diner.
"Jade". I heard Pops come after me. "What's wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing". I lied refusing to look at him so he couldn't see my face.
"Don't lie to me, I've known you long enough now". He stated.
"Nothing pops I'm fine, just tired as sore". I stated rubbing my stomach. Four months pregnant and Jason couldn't watch the baby grow.
"Ok...go to bed". He gave me a quick hug before walking back into his diner.
"I love pops he's amazing". I breathed as I walked home.
Once I got home I found Jughead waiting for me on my porch steps.
"Hey Jug". I smiled up at him.
"Hey". He smiled back.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Nothing". He lied.
"Call it pregnancy hormones but I know your lying". I laughed as did he.
"People are starting to think my dad killed Jason". He looked away.
"well I know he didn't". I promised."I've known FP long enough now". I smiled and he smiled back.
"Thanks I needed that". He said as he stood up and kissed me on the cheek before walking home. Come to think of it I don't even know where he lives.
