Apartments

"At least I didn't have to wait for hours until Julia and Max caught up with their lives." I say as we both exit the elevator arriving on our floor.

"Sammy, we need to talk about something." Jack says, and I swallow nervously. What does he want to talk about? Julia? Me? Tonight?

"Sammy I really want to be with you again. I miss seeing you all the time, and I've always tried to talk to you. I know what I did was wrong and stupid. I just want us together again. I love you, and only you." He explains, but I sigh.

"I know you want to fix things, but how can you? I mean, you told another girl you loved her right in front of me. From now on, let's j-just be friends." I say. "Friends Jack?"

He kind of frowns and looks down, but looks at me in my eyes again. "Friends.." Jack walks away and goes into his apartment, slamming the door. I don't know why he's...mad! He's the one who caused all this. He's the one who caused us to break up. He's the one who made me stop loving him...

"Okay, I'll meet you in the car." Jess says to me as I give her a thumbs up, walking to Kendall. Oh my god, it's been like what..2 months since I haven't talked to him! But I need to tell him what happened. I tap him on the shoulder and he turns around.

"Oh..Samantha.. What do you want?" Kendall says, giving me a 'What are you doing here' look.

"Good to see you too." I frown. "Look Kendall, I need to tell you something."

"What is it?" He says with an attitude. GOSH KENDALL NO NEED TO HAVE AN ATTITUDE WITH ME!

"You were right. Jack..actually did hurt me. Bad." I say.

He sighs. "Oh..sorry to hear that. But..I did tell you."

"Yeah but how did you know? Did you know Jack before I met him? Do you know Julia? Who told you?" I put my hands on my hips.

"I don't even know who Julia is! And I don't know it's just that...Jack seemed like he had something inside of him."

"That something was right." I mutter under my breath, folding my arms.

"What?" Kendall asks, knowing he heard me say something.

"You're right. Something was inside of him. He told someone he loved them right in front of me." Urgg, it hurts me inside every time I have to say that!

"Oh...Well, if I were you, I would never forgive him for that." Kendall says as I smirk. The problem is...half of me wants me to forgive him. And the other half wants me to forget all about him and all the memories.

"Yeah I'm..thinking about that." I lie. I shrug my shoulders. "I'm glad we're talking again...right?"

"Totally." Kendall responds and punches me softly but playfully on my arm. I turn around chuckling and walk to Jess who was waiting for me in her car.

"Did you tell him?" Jess asks as I get in. I sigh and look at her.

"Yeah..I did." I say, buckling up and Jess drives out of the school parking lot. We head home. At least I got an old friend ,who's now my old new friend, back today.
