"Steve, get me a chocolate one!" Valerie yells at Steve who was in line at the milkshake truck. We have a milkshake truck, yes we do. JEALOUS?!
"Valerie, please! You yelled right in my ear." Jessica says as she takes a bite of her grilled cheese sandwich.
"Oh...sorry!" Valerie yelled again nd Jess got scared. Amy and I laugh with Val.
"Sam, that Junior's coming behind you in three, two-" Jess whispered and stopped after two.
"Hey babe. Can I get a kiss?" He says as he puts his arms around me and sits down next to me. STEVE BETTER HURRY!
"Dude back off okay? Just get the hell out of here." Val says as she stands up.
"Girl please, you can't make me leave." Junior says as he stands up too. God when is he ever going to stop bothering me!!!
"Oh yeah?" I hear Val mutter. She grabs two oranges and throws one at Junior's eye.
"Shit!" He yells. Good job VALERIE!
"Oh, I'm not done." Val says as she grabs one orange, and throws both directly at his crotch. He holds it there and walks away from our table. I can hear him groan loudly.
"Nice job Val! But uh, you used one of my oranges.." Jess points out and looks down at her food as Val grabs her own orange. "Then again, what's the deal with oranges?" I chuckle with Amy. Steve jumps on the bench and sits down as he smiles at us, handing the girls our drinks.
"Steve, why does the junior come when there are no boys?" Jess asks, giving Steve a look
"Psh, how should I know?" Steve shrugs his shoulders.
"Okay next time, I'm gonna go get the shakes." Amy says, and she says it again
just to be clear.
"I'm definitely going with you." I pause. "I'm definitely going with you Amy." I say once more a Steve gives me a crazy look.
"Okay, now time for me to speak. But I'm not gonna say things twice." Jessica says as she looks at me and Amy. Amy and I giggle.
"What up Jess?" Val asks, eating her grilled cheese sandwich.
"Guys, I'm gonna be gone for 2 weeks!" Jess announces really quick. Good thing we all heard exactly what she said.
"What? Why?" I ask, wanting answers. Where is she going?!
"I have to go to Colorado with my parents to see some family members. My mom's sister's daughter just gave birth to a boy. So we have to go see him and help her out a bit." Jess explains as we all rest our elbow on the table.
"Jess, two weeks? Seriously?" Amy whines. 2 weeks without Jess! No way!
"Yeah. I know, I'm bummed too. But I have to go, sorry." Jessica sighed. "But I'll group text you guys, I promise. Sam, I hope you're gonna be okay without me at the apartment for two weeks." Jessica looks at me. I frown.
"Hey, I'll be fine as long as we all text." I smile as everyone drinks their shakes at the same time.
"When you leavin?" Val asks Jessica.
"On Friday." Jess answers. That's two days away from now! Ugh, why does Jess have to go see a boy if the mom can just facetime Jess' family. But, who am I to tell people what to do.
"Aww! Well we're gonna miss ya bud." Steve playfully punches Jess on her shoulder and she giggles.
