Chapter 21

For the rest of the day, Jenn and I just ate food and watched Netflix.

Around 6:00pm, I look down at my phone and see that I have a text from Jc.

Jc- Surprise soon(;

Me- Should I be scared...?

Jc- Maybe.

Me- Oh God.

I guess I was making a weird face because Jenn asked, "Is everything ok?"

"Ya. Jc's just being weird." I reply.

We both shrug our shoulders and go back to watching Netflix.

"When does he come back?" Jenn asks out of nowhere.

"Two days, why?" I reply.

"Just wondering." She replies.

I just go back to watching Netflix.

About 30 minutes later we hear a knock at the door.

"Did you invite someone else over?" I ask Jenn.

"No. Did you?" She asks back.

I shake my head and get up.

"Is Connor, Ricky, or Kian home?" Jenn asks.

"No. I don't think so atleast." I tell her.

I walk to the door to the garage door and see no one's cars are there.

"No one's cars are here!" I yell back to Jenn.

"Just answer the door then!" She yells back.

I walk to the door. I look over to Jenn before I open the door and she has this huge smile on her face. I just give her a confused look.

I open the door and I honestly can't believe who's standing there. I stand there in shock and just stare.

"Hi babe." Jc says.

I jump up and wrap my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist.

"Whoa." He says.

I get down and hug him.

"You came back." I say to him.

"Well, there was nothing for me in Texas anymore, so I had to come back. And I missed you." He tells me and then leans down to kiss me.

"Did you know about this?" I ask Jenn.

"Maybe." She says.

"I have the best friends ever." I say and pull them into a group hug.

"Well I'm gonna go. You guys obviously missed eachother a lot." Jenn says as she begins to gather her things.

"Bye Jenn!" I yell.

I see her wave through the window.

Jc leads me to the couch and I sit on his lap.

"Can I know the real reason why you came home early?" I ask him.

"Well, I missed you so much. This is your surprise by the way. And Mia wouldn't leave me alone." He tells me.

I let out a sigh before saying, "Why does she hate me?"

"I guess she still likes me. I mean we hadn't talked since I left for California because her parents made her come say bye, but before that we hadn't talk for a year." He tells me.

"I just don't want to lose you." I admit to him.

"You'll never lose me babe." He tells me.

"Promise?"

"Promies." He says.

"I love you." I tell him and then lean in to kiss him.

We pull away and he says, "I love you too." And then we continue kissing.
