Chapter 21

Alexis's POV

After like freaking 20 minutes which felt like 20 years, we finally got to our destination. We were at the beach but there was no one and it was just beautiful. It was dark but I could see the moons reflection in the water. I smiled and followed Drew down the beach.

We walked down the beach hand in hand, laughing and being able to spend time together like always. He stopped me in the middle of the beach and looked at me straight dead in my eyes, looking nervous and scared. I was confused at his expression. He took a deep breath and ran his hand through his hair.

"I've been practicing saying this since I started spending a lot more time with you and when I almost kissed you on the first day of school. I like you .. a lot. Wait scratch that! I LOVE YOU!! I fallen in love with you and I'm still falling for you every single day. There is not a second where I don't think of you. You're just in my head like glue. I can't believe I haven't known you were the one for me 4 damn years ago. I couldn't believe I just ripped your heart like that. All those times when I wanted to keep in contact with you, you were just trying to push me away because that's how hurt you were. I wish I could go back and fell in love with you instead of Brittany. I was stupid and blind and soo many other names but I know now that I love you. I could be the corniest guy right now but I am really in love with you to the moon and back. Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked.

I felt my heart start beating faster and faster to the point where I might have a heart attack. I felt tears rolling down my cheek from my happiness.

"You don't have to say yes because of me and I really don't deserve you. You can get any guy at our school and plus you got the head of the football team. So you don't hav-"

I cut him by placing my lips on his. He was shocked but then started kissing back after a second. Our lips moulded together. Sparks, bombs and fireworks at the moment our lips touched. It felt amazing like always. I'm in love with Drew. My best friend and now my boyfriend. Well I hope he knows this is a yes.
