Drew's POV

I heard crying in a meadow that Alexis and I found. I smiled at the memory when we were young and free - drama free. The smile dropped when I thought about Alexis's face when she saw Brittany and I kissing. Hurt, Anger and Regret was clear on her face. I wanted to wrap my arms around her tiny waist and tell her everything but I knew that it wouldn't be the best choice knowing Alexis. She is very violent if anybody touches her when she's upset. I know from experience. I got kicked in the balls when I was 12 because she was furious at this guy for pushing her into mud and ruining her hair.

I went in between the bushes and got through. By now I didn't hear the sobbing. I looked around the meadow trying to find any sign who could have been here. I spotted a rock what was a little wet on the edge. It looked like tear drops landed here and they were still fresh. I looked around trying to find the girl or boy that have been crying here. They wouldn't have got away that easily because there is only one entrance and exit. I looked around trees and then I saw a little cave. I walked up to it to see if there was anyone there.

My eyes widen and my heart started beating faster like it always does when I see her face. Her puffy red eyes looking straight at me with hurt and anger.

"Alexis" I breathed, managing to get that out with the sudden shock in seeing her.

"I need to go" She said while trying to get up.

"Please Alexis! Can you please let me explain?!! You are the one I love not Brittany!!" I said while gently grabbing her wrist. She stopped on my touch.

"Let me go Drew" She said. Her voice was low, I think it scared her a little.

"I won't let go until you let me explain" I said, lacing our fingers together.

There was a moment of silence until I heard her sigh.

"Fine, You can explain." She whispered.

A smile formed on my lips and I took her to a rock near the water. We both sat down. I still haven't let go of her hand and she didn't try to remove my hand from hers.

Here goes nothing ... I thought.
