Chapter 36

Drew's POV

I groaned when I was blinded by the light that was creeping from the blinds. I moved my arm trying to find my cuddle buddy but she wasn't there. I groaned & got up to brush my teeth.

I made my way downstairs to the kitchen & to see my beautiful girlfriend & mother making breafast. My dad reading the morning newspaper like usual. I smiled & sat down beside my dad, talking about random stuff like we always did.

After about 15 minutes later, a plate of pancakes, egg & bacon was placed in front of me. I smiled & looked up to see Alexis. I leaned up a bit & kissed her but pulled away quickly. I started eating but I guess rather quickly.

"Piggy" I heard Alexis mumble.

I looked at her & smirked.

"Did you say something, babe?" I asked her.

She looked up & I could tell that she was trying to fight a smile.

"No, of course not" She said smirking.

"I think I heard 'piggy' coming out of your pretty little mouth" I said.

"You must be hearing things then" She said, going back eating again.

I chuckled & began eating again. I heard my phone ring from my pocket. I excused my self & went into the other room.

'Melissa' It said on my phone.

"Hello" I said.

"Hey Drew. I was wondering if your ready to pick up the ring you ordered" She said.

I smiled. "Yeah. I'll meet you tonight at the usual place, kay?"

"Okay. See you soon. Bye" She said before hanging up.

I smiled & headed back to the other room.

"Who were you talking on the phone babe?" Alexis asked.

I tensed up. She can't know whats going on right now.

"N-no one. J-Just you know .. A friend" I said nervously.

She frowned & nodded going to back eating. She can't find out now. It would ruin everything.
