Chapter 34

Alexis's POV

The doctor left me alone to fix myself. He offered me some clothes to change in. I sighed and got up to take a shower. I walked into the very big bathroom and locked the door. You never know who can walk into my room. I turned on the shower to my temperature liking and stripped into my birthday suit. I stepped in to the hot water and let the water cleanse my body.

A year. I missed my senoir prom, my graduation and everything else that belongs into my senoir year. I felt tears well up in my eyes. I can't believe that I missed so much. I picked up the shampo that the hospital provided and cleaned my hair and followed by the condition. I washed the strawberry smelling hair products out of my hair and turned off the water. I grabbed the towel and wrapped my body around it. I wiped the stream off the mirror, wanting to see my reflection.

I stared at myself. I just looked at myself that seemed like a second but it wasnt. I took all the features in. How my face looked very pale and dry. My lips chapped and my skin dry. I smiled at my self for the first time in a year. I took a deep breath and got changed. I dried my hair with a hair dryer and put on some lotion. I took one last look at myself in the mirror before unlocking the door and walking out.

My eyes widen with my mouth gaped open a bit and tears ready to spill. It felt like a thousand years since I seen him and his lips on mine. I ran into his open arms and hugged his torso, knowing that I couldn't reach his neck because thats how short I am.

"I missed you" He whispered.

"I missed you too" I whispered back.

"Drew, how you been?" I asked.

"Miserable" He whispered before placing his lips on mine.

I felt the craving come back. I kissed back knowing that I couldnt stop myself. I pulled away for air and looked at him.

"I love you" I said with a smile placed on my lips.

"You dont know how long Ive been waiting for you to say that. I love you too baby" He said before placing his lips on mine.

This is perfect.
