Chapter 39

Drew's POV

Today's the big day. Today is when everything is going to change in my life.

The reason I've been hanging around Melissa was because she was helping me set up the best proposal and to make the a one of a kind engagement ring.

"Is everything set up?" I asked Melissa on the phone while pulling up in my drive way.

"Yeah, now hurry up and get your girl" She yelled.

"Okay okay. Bye Melissa" I laughed before hanging up.

Did I mention she was my cousin too?

I opened the front door and walked in to see Alexis in the kitchen eating dinner. It was about 6:30 so it was a perfect time.

I wrapped my arms around she little waist and kissed her cheek.

"Hey baby" I said.

"Hey" She said smiling.

"So what are you doing tonight?" I asked, hoping she doesn't have any plans but already knowing she doesn't.

"Nothing why?" She asked.

I smiled. "I want to take you out" I said.

Her smiled widen and nodded. "I'll go get dress then." She said hopping off her chair and heading upstairs.

I smiled and took her plate from the counter to wash it. After I was done washing it, I went upstairs to get changed myself since Alexis is still taking a shower.

I got my black tux and quickly changed into it. I walked downstairs to wait for my soon to be wife.

After 20 minutes, she came walking down the stairs look stunning as always. I couldn't believe she chose me out of any guy from our school. She deserves much more but she chose me.

I didn't realize I was staring or that my mouth had a gap when she giggled and shut my mouth.

"Close your mouth or you'll catch flies" She said.

I smiled and planted my lips on her soft pink lips. Just a little peck.

"Come on love." I said, holding onto her hand.

She followed me out to the car. I opened the door for her and she hopped in. I jogged over to my side and hooped in, driving to our destination.

We finally got to our destination. A beautiful cliff that Melissa found. It was dark out but the stars were still shining and the moon too.

"It's so beautiful out here" She whispered.

"Just like you" I said.

I faced Alexis holding her tiny hands in my big ones.

"You know that you will always be my best friends" I said.

I took out the little black velvet box and opened it.

"I want you to be my best friend forever. Go through my ups and downs with me and I'll go through yours. I love you. Let's start a new life together. Will you marry me?" I asked her.

Tears streamed down her cheeks but I knew the tears were tears of joy. All I could see was lust and love.

She nodded. "Yes. YES!! Omg YES!" She said excitedly.

I slipped on the ring. Little dimonds all around the band with a big dimond.

I pulled her into a hug wrapping my arms around her waist. I pulled away and planted my lips on her soft ones.

I can't wait for forever with my love of my life.
