Chapter 33

Drew's POV

It's been a year since Alexis has been in a coma. A YEAR!! I already graduated High School and in College. I haven't dated any girl. I couldn't move on and I'm still dating Alexis. Alexis, my best friend, the love of my life and the girl that stole my heart. Any guy would be so lucky to be with her.

I held her hand and looked at her angelic face. No matter what state she is, in a coma, sleeping, or even just watching her watch TV, she still manages to be beautiful as ever. I smiled and leaned in to place a soft gentle kiss on her cheek. I made my way up to her forehead, then to her other cheek and stopped right above her lips. I wanted to wait until she woke up to feel her soft, warm lips on mine. I want it to be special moment.

I sat back onto my seat while holding onto her hand, never wanting to let go.

"I love you Alexis. It's been a year and I want you to know that I love you. I never stopped because I'll never forget your face when we were 14 years old. How I broke your heart that day and went with your ex best friend. I know it was very long ago but I can't forget the tears streaming down your face and when I turned around you weren't there. You were gone like that. I love you Alexis and I will never stop." I said, tears already streaming down my cheeks.

"Please Alexis, Wake up" I whispered.

I put my head down on her bed but I heard her heart beats go up. She started moving and gasp. Before I could do anything, doctors and nurses pushed me out. I tried arguing with them but they threatened me to be kicked out so I just sat in the waiting room.

After 20 minutes of waiting a doctor finally came out. I stood and approached the doctor.

"How is she doctor? Can I see her?" I asked, eager to know.

"She's fine and you can go see. One more thing" The doctor said.

The feeling of happiness washed my whole body and a big smile formed onto my face.

"She's awake" He said.

My girlfriend, my best friend and my baby is awake. A year I've been waiting and now I can finally have my Princess in my arms again.
