Chapter 23

Drew's POV

What the hell is Brittany doing here?!?! Is she stalking us or something!?! I looked over at Alexis and saw that she wasn't so happy either. I grabbed her hand and laced our fingers together. I squeezed her hand lightly telling her to calm down. She mumbled something under her breath but I couldn't hear.

"Awwwh!! What are you guys doing here? I decided to take a walk around here." She said, sitting beside me, dangling her legs on the edge of the cliff like Alexis and I are.

"Erm, This is in the middle of nowhere. How do you know this place?" I asked her.

Seriously, how did she know.

"My parents used to take me here but stopped when I was getting older." She said, looking at me.

I nodded slowly and turned to look at my girlfriend. I smiled at her and leaned in to kiss her cheek. I pulled away a little so I can see her face. She smiled and turned to face me. I kissed her soft lips and pulled away. She was smiling but then frowned when she saw Brittany. I turned around and saw Brittany glaring at Alexis.

"Welll .. I think I need to bring Alexis home. Bye Brittany" I said, getting up and helping Alexis up.

"Wait! Um, Can I talk to you Drew? Alone" She said eyeing Alexis.

I looked at Alexis and she nodded going ahead to the car. I sighed and turned to face Brittany.

"What do you want to talk about?" I asked her.

"The thing is ..... I love you" She said, quietly.

I shook my head and sighed, running my hand through my hair.

"Brittany, I'm with Alexis. I love Alexis and I always have. I don't even remember falling for you" I said, walking to the car.

I heard Brittany walking behind me and nagging on and on. I rolled my eyes and was almost to my car but was stopped by Brittany again.

"What do you want??!!" I asked her.

"I just want one last kiss from you. Just one kiss." She said. "Then I promise to leave you alone"

I rolled my eyes. "No! I have a girlfriend so no" I told her.

"Why can't I just get one kiss!! Its just one kiss!! Please Drew!!" Her high pitched voice said.

I was getting annoyed and so I turned around and crashed my lips to hers. Nothing. I didn't feel anything. No sparks. No fireworks. Just nothing. I pulled away and looked at her. She had a smirk and her face. I was confused but then I turned around. I saw Alexis walk away from behind the bush. I glared at Brittany and ran after Alexis. I saw her standing near my car.

"Alexis, it's not what you think -"

But I was cut off by her holding her hand up. I saw tears streaming down her face. I wanted to wipe them off so badly but I know that she doesn't want me to do that right now.

"Just take me home" She said.

I could hear her voice cracking. I nodded and ws about to open the door for her but she opened it and hopped inside. I took a deep breath, feeling tears stinging my eyes, knowing that having her my girlfriend will end at the end of the night.
