Jason awoke as the weak winter sunlight filtered through the gap in the curtains. He looked over at Lexi lying on her side, fast asleep, her face relaxed. He loved watching her sleep because she looked so beautiful when she was asleep, like she hadn't a care in the world. He wished he could sleep like she did. He slept better when she was in bed with him he acknowledged. He often joked that she would be able to sleep even, if she was pegged out on the washing line to sleep. He smiled as she stirred and opened her eyes, catching him staring at her.

'Hello gorgeous,' he leant over and planted a tender kiss on her lips, making her smile sleepily at him in reply.

'Morning gorgeous yourself,' she mumbled, pushing her hair off her face and kissing him back eagerly. As if by magic she felt his erection push against her leg and shook her head at him as if to say, "what are you like?" as he murmered "down boy" to himself,' she smirked as he looked at her, a slightly sheepish expression on his face.

'Sorry Lex, can't help it.It's what you do to me.'

'Good. I'm glad....' she murmered, sliding down under the bed-clothes and smiling to herself as she heard a sharp intake of breath emanate from between his lips, as she tugged his boxer shorts down and take his erection in her mouth.

By 10am they were on the M11 on their way to Cambridge for their 11am appointment to pick up Lexi's Engagement ring at Harriet Kelsall's. Lexi was feeling a small degree of trepidation, in case the ring wasn't as beautiful as she remembered it being from the sketches and the mock-up Kathryn had made up for her on the computer.

They arrived at the shop in Green Street just before 11am and Lexi couldn't wait to see the ring. Jason suddenly stopped as they were about to walk up the steps into the shop.

'Wait outside..'' he muttered, trying hard not to laugh at the look of confusion which crossed Lexi's face,' she dropped his hand, putting her hands on her hips and cocked her head to one side.

'Jay, what are you up to now?'

'Lex, I don't want to just slip the ring on in the shop. I want to do it properly luv. Just go with me on this. I know I'm a soppy sod, but seeing as I didn't have a ring for you in Santorini I want to take you somewhere private and do this, OK?'

She looked at him quizzically and wondered what he was up to. A small smile played across his face as he looked back at her, his hand reaching out as he tucked a stray hair behind her ear which had come loose from her ponytail. Leaning forward he kissed her softly on the lips and turned on his heel, springing quickly up the stairs and into the shop.

Lexi shook her head in mock exasperation at him, crossed her arms and leant against the shop window, making sure she kept her back to him so she couldn't see whatever he was up to, even though she was itching to crane her head round and gawp inside.

A few minutes later Jason came back out of the shop, tucking the small bag containing her ring-box into his jacket pocket as he flashed her a triumphant smile.

'Right, come on trouble,' he grabbed hold of her hand and tugged her in the direction of St Andrew's Street.

'Where are we going?'

'Wait and see..,' he tapped his nose and gave her another mysterious smile. They walked through the centre of the city, past her old clothes shop until they reached a bus-stop. Lexi looked upwards at the bus stop sign, still wondering what he was up to and raised an eyebrow. Jason looked back at her innocently and tried to ignore the curious looks from bystanders who recognised him, despite the woollen hat pulled down over his ears, which just skimmed his eyebrows.

'Jay, I've lived in Cambridge pretty much all my life. Why would I want to go on the Hop on Hop off sightseeing bus?'

'Lex, stop asking questions. You'll see soon enough!' he looked at her, exasperation written across his face as he shook his head at her impatience.
