Lexi woke up to the sound of Jason whistling away in the kitchen. She lay for a moment in the bed scrunched up comfortably under the duvet before gingerly getting out of bed, relieved that she felt hungry and not sick for a change.

Jason was standing in the kitchen in his swimming shorts, making a cup of coffee for himself as she walked in the room.

'Hi luv, how are you today?' he asked her, putting his arm around her and kissing her forehead.

'Good. Hungry. And guess what? I fancy a cup of coffee!' she smiled, flicking the kettle on and spooning coffee into a mug.

'Hmmm... that's good. It's got to be at least six weeks since you last fancied one of those,' he remarked, popping two pieces of bread in the toaster for breakfast. 'If we're quick we'll get a chance to go for a swim before we leave for the airport,' Jason said, consulting his watch.

'What time is the flight?' Lexi asked, taking a sip of her coffee and feeling relieved that she was actually enjoying the coffee, rather than it making her feel nauseous. She took the piece of buttered toast which Jason handed to her, murmering thanks to him as she did so.

'One pm,' Jason replied, taking a bite of toast and slipping two towels and their swimming costumes into his rucksack, along with a bottle of sun-tan lotion.

The flight back was uneventful. They were back at Gatwick by 4.30pm and back home by 6pm. Jason had messaged Mark once they had arrived back at Gatwick airport to find out what the plan was for the following day. Mark had replied back that they were meeting at Cardington air-base at 9am sharp and that he hoped they'd had a nice honeymoon.

That evening Jason made them a stir-fry as Lexi sorted out the washing which needed to be done. 'So, what time are you leaving tomorrow?' she asked him, slamming the washing machine door and turning around to look at him.

'Ermm around 7am I'd say,' Jason replied, fiddling with his watch to set his alarm. 'Do you fancy coming as you've got the day off?'

'No Jay. You need some time with the lads. Plus, I'm meeting up with Katrina tomorrow so we can compare our pregnancy woes and boring stuff like that,'  Lexi replied, winding her arm around Jason's waist and sniffing his cooking appreciatively. 'I should probably take it easy if I have work the next day.'

Jason nodded and continued stirring the dinner. 'Maybe when we're a bit further along with the rehearsals and a little more polished then?'

'Yeah, that would be good,' Lexi replied, handing him the dinner plates to put their stir fry on, whilst she drained the noodles which were boiling away in a pan of water.

Jason arrived at Cardington air-base just before 9am the following morning. Gary and Robbie were already there outside in the spring sunshine, chatting away over a cup of tea, Robbie with the obligatary cigarette butt in between his fingers.

Mark and Howard drew up in the car park a few minutes later, as Gary and Robbie were greeting him. Mark came bounding over like an over excited school-boy, his hands rubbing together in glee that all five of them were back together for the first time in a couple of months.

'Ooh, all five of us together in one room. How exciting!' he clapped Jason on the back, causing him to choke on the scalding tea he'd just taken a sip of. 'So Jay, good honeymoon mate?'

Jason nodded as he tried to get his breath back. 'Er yeah. The best,' he spluttered, tears running down his cheeks from the tea which had gone down the wrong way.

'Wore your end away yet?' Howard smirked, lighting his cigarette and taking a drag of it.

'Nope, but I'm working on it,' Jason replied, casting his eyes around to see whether Dominic, their set designer had turned up. 'Dom here yet?' he said out loud, to no-one in particular.
