AU Sans X Reader one shots

You were a scientists that had fallen in the underground 5 months ago due to an expirment that had gone wrong. Ever since then you met and befriended monsters along the way eventually getting a job to work with sans.

You were more of his assistant and the both of you worked to find a way to break the barrier. This was the deal you made with the king in order to keep your soul and ever since then things has been pretty sweet except you could say you didnt like being sans assistant much.

Being his assistant was more of being his maid. He never cleaned up after himself and organized his work, it was a wonder how he found things quickly in his mess of papers. The lab was more of his house since he pratically stayed there all night working and would end up falling asleep. Worst thing is you would have to stay and work those long hours with him, which by the way was not fun, but he seemed quite happy about staying there longer.

I let out a sigh as I organized papers that were scattered about.

'When is Alphys gonna get back?' I thought to myself.

She and undyne were on a 'honeymoon'...and I hadnt seen them around lately.

I was just really tired of having to stay back late with sans. I wasnt getting the rest i needed and everytime i cleaned there was more mess.

"Oh you organized those papers? Thanks , y/n" I hear sans say as he drops another mess on a separate table and walks about hurridely.

I let out another sigh, i really want to face palm.

'You have to be kidding me'

"You know sans things would me much easier if you cleaned up after yourself" i told him

"Yeah, yeah, i can do that later" he said while working on something.

I sighed again and left the other pile of papers alone. I picked up one of my papers I had on souls and studied it. While I was writing down and picieng a few things together i heard aans mumbling a bit. Most likely thinking out loud again.

"IVE GOT IT!" He says suddenly startling me.

"Got...what?" I questoined at yia sudden enthusiasm

Sans turned around quickly making his glasses tilt a bit crookedly(yo i think i forgot how to spell) and he fixed it with just a push at the bridge.

"Oh, y/n im going to need you to stay back late again-"

"Wh-"

"I believe I have finally figured out how we can break the barrier" Sans said

"Really? How, from the data that we've run through-"

"Yeah, i know, i know, but y/n this is finally our chance to break the barrier, here take a look at it"

Sans handed me the group of papers and I took them skeptically. I looked through the data narrowing my eyes a bit as I read.

"You see." Sans said

"The idea is plausible, but you know from past experiments that monster souls-"

"Exactly" sans said cutting me off

"Monster souls are to fragile but if we used a human soul..."

"And where do you suppose we get one? We already used the last of what we had"

"I already have that taken care of...I just need you to trust me y/n please...we can finally set monsters free" Sans pleaded with me and after awhile I sighed
