Requested|little red X little reader

Monsters were free on the surface and lived in coexistence with humans happily. You attend an elementary school in your neighborhhod bit you don't really like it.

You were always bullied by both humans and monsters alike. You never understood why. When you first started school you tried making friends with the others, you tried being nice said hello but for some reason they avoided you....like you were different.

But one day you realized you weren't alone. A monster in your class, he was called red was often alone. You saw as people and monsters usually avoided him and never wanted to interact with him, like they were afraid of him and to be honest he did look scary with that glare he always had.

One day during recess you saw red sitting off to the side by himself as the other kids played. You walked up to him and when he noticed you he turned his head.

"Um, hi" you gave him a small wave and he looked unamused

"What do you want" you questioned

"Uh, I just wondered why you were here by yourself, maybe we could play together"

He propped a brow at you.

"I don't know what your trying to get at but I'm alone because I chose to be, I don't want to play around with you losers" he said

You felt a bit hurt

"Oh..uh..sorry...it's just I saw you alone all the time so I thought that you were like me...." you said

" Wait, your the freak right?" He questioned

"W..what f..freak I'm no-" you stuttered and he laughed

"Hahahahahahaha this is rich" he laughed and you pouted clenching your fists.

"Hahaha..you..you...thought I was like you..hahaha" he continued to laugh

"Hey! You don't have to be a jerks about it, I just wanted to be nice and offer you company but if that's how you feel I'm leaving, and I'm not a freak so don't call me that, my name is y/n!" You yelled and turned to walk away

Reds laughing stopped as you yelled at him and walk away surprising him a bit.

"...hey where are you going!"

"Away, since you don't want me around!" You huffed

"Wait a minute, I didn't say I had a problem with you hanging around" he said simply

You stopped in your tracks and looked at him with a sparkle in your eye.

"You mean. ..you don't mind"

"Heh, don't get used to it" he said and you walked up to him and sat down leaving enough space for the both of you.

It was quiet between the bith of you as you watched the kids play around. You suddenly broke the silence as you asked red a question.

"...do you...do you like puns?" You asked

"Huh?, heh depends, got any good ones?" He questioned as he smirked.

"Good? They're punsational!" You said and giggled at your own pun

Red didn't laugh but his grin widened.

"Heh not bad" he complimented

"T..thank you" you blushed

You and red spent the rest of play time talking and telling jokes getting to know each other better.

After that you started to talk to red more. Even though he tried to play bad guy and act like he didn't want you around you knew it wasn't true. You had realised that inside red was a big softy you haf never seen him amd even if he tries to act like it.
