Worst weekend part 2

I stood there frozen, unable to get any words out of my mouth, opening and then closing it again.

Michael tried and tried with me, begging me to hear him out, telling me it was a mistake and she has liked him for ages and she basically just attacked him.

I don't know what to believe.

Every part of me wanted to believe that Michael was the person I thought he was.

That he was the amazing friend who would never do something like this.

I don't know how he could do this to Kian I'm so confused about the whole situation, they are Best friends?

Was there history between them or something? Like am I missing something?

Again I opened my mouth to say something but slowly closed it, there's just nothing too say.

Michael stood in front of me and grabbed my shoulders.

I felt the warmth and the electricity from his hands spread through my body and i tried not to make it obvious that it made me shiver.

His intoxicating smell filled my nose. He smelled like some sort of aftershave and coffee mixed together and it was perfect and ugh this is hard.

He looked directly in to my eyes lifting my chin slightly. His eyes were filled with panic.

"Listen to me Hannah, I didn't do this ok, it was her. She has been telling me she wants me for a while, trying to seduce me, and I just came out of the bathroom and she just done it!"

I look at him for a while, studying his eyes for any sign of lies. But it's impossible.

I'm not going to lie, he is perfect, obviously I shouldn't be thinking this way but he is.

And I suppose I'm lucky to have a best friend that opens up to me, and hopefully tells the truth.

Because I'm deciding to believe him.

I know what Alix is like, I don't know everything about Michael but it feels right to trust him.

"Ok Michael." I manage to say.

The tears well up in my eyes.

A look of relief takes over his face and he hugs me tight, wrapping his arms around my waist.

I cry a little, trying not to make it noticeable but he immediately pulls away and relief is replaced with concern.

I mean this is too much for me! I'm going to have to keep this from one of my closest friends. Wherever Alix is there just seems to be trouble and it's overwhelming.

By this time she had left, not wanting to listen too me.

"Hannah? What's wrong?"

"Michael." I choke crying heavily now. "Please don't do this again ok, I need you I need to trust you, you can't let me down" I plead, I feel desperate now.

"You can't disappoint me, I always get disappointed and part of me thought that you would never disappoint me. You have to understand Michael, you can't do to me what my dad did."

He must have put 2 and 2 together because he looks completely taken aback.

Probably because I just broke down right in front of him.

I don't know why I feel so strongly towards this boy? Or maybe I'm a really ugly cryer.

"Hannah, I will never let you down. I will be everything you need me to be, I promise."

His words comfort me and I find myself hugging him again.

"We should probably get back to the others." Michael says softly into my ear.

Oh shit, I'd forgotten where we even were. I don't want to go back to the others, I don't want to see Alix.

We quickly ran up to the movie where Jake immediately wrapped his arms around me and scolded me for taking so long, saying that he was worried about me.

Erica gave me a puzzled look and I mouthed 'I'll tell you later' which she quickly figured out.

Molly and Rachel were enjoying the movie, i don't think they even cared I was gone which hurts a little but oh well.

At the end of the movie we all say our goodbyes, Jake says he will come and see me tomorrow again and to tell my parents he said hi, I roll my eyes and laugh at the thought of my mum being so happy at Jakes small gesture.

Jake then proceeds at saying bye to my friends, Kian and Alix left early because they said they have stuff to talk about.

Curiosity gets the best of me and I can't help but wonder if Alix is telling Kian about her kiss with Michael.

Or worse he found out during the movie.

Anyway that just leaves Michael and I.

We stand and stare at each other for a moment before he comes over to me gives me a quick hug and whispers in my ear

"See you soon Han" it sends shivers done my spine and the meaningless words stick with me for a while.

We get in the car and Rachel and Molly are sitting in the front, talking about how they are going to go and see Chloe and once Alix is back from dinner with Kian she will join them too.

Me and Erica glance over at each other and roll our eyes, if that's the way Molly and Rachel wanted to be then that's fine.

"Ohh tell me why you were gone for so long!" Erica brings it up.

"Ohh yeah..."

I tell Erica the full story of what happened starting from why I went to the restroom in the first place to me and Michael making our way back.

Luckily Molly and Rachel were having there own conversation so they didn't listen in.

Erica was furious with Alix and started calling her all the names under the sun. I laughed a little because Erica is funny when she is angry.

I text Maddie and Vicky informing them I have an SOS situation and that they were to come to my house immediately.

The whole time I'm left thinking about the numerous things that Michael has been saying to me.

I smile at myself, thinking about one specific thing.

'Hannah I will never let you down, I will be everything you need me to be, I promise.'
