The barbecue was a success.Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.To say the twins were spent yesterday was an understatement.

We had the barbecue yesterday evening.The flow of wine,mango smoothies and the exotic food had everyone under it's spell.No one woke up before 10 am in the morning.The staff was also tired so we gave them a leave.Actually I want some alone time with my wife.

We spent all the day with our kids.Watching movies,playing handball at the beach.All in all the perfect family day.

Now it's only me and Ava.The kids are sleeping.I have my wife all to myself now and intend to make all of it.

We were currently on the terrace lying in the hammock.She was lying beside me snuggled up in my arms.

"Ava?"

"Hmm.."She murmured in my chest.I chuckled.

"Did you ever think that we will have this moment during those years?"

She looked up at me.

"I did...but I was not sure if it would ever come true.It was a part of my fantasies."

"I consider myself the luckiest man in this world because you are my fantasy that's lying in my arms right now."

She was tearing up.I felt her squeezing my shirt.

"We have to pretend hating each other from tomorrow."

"I know baby.I am not very happy about that just like you are not.We are doing this because we have to...it's important for us and our kids."

"I know..but it's so hard.I finally have my man back and I have to..."

She was crying now.I wiped away her tears.

"Hey..babe.Whatever happens I'll always have your back.I promise you that you will have me in every step of your life.This is just a phase that'll pass away soon.I assure you this temporary arrangement will end soon."

Ava moved her head closer to me.I sat frozen, from both fear and excitement. She leaned in, so her forehead rests against mine. We close our eyes. Both our breaths were shaking. "Thank you," she says in barely more than a whisper.

"For what?" I reply, my voice low and husky.

"For being you." Her voice wavers, exhilarated from the tension between us.

She gently leans in and kisses my warms lips.We pull apart and take shaky, shallow breaths.

Unable to contain myself anymore, I hold Ava's head in my hands and pull her into a fiery and passionate kiss. Her hands work their way around my body, feeling each crevasse, each line along my hard physique.

She lies on her back as I match her body's form. My hands venture over her curved body, exploring. We pull apart and open our eyes.We stare at each other, deep into each other's eyes. My eyes full of wonder and love, Ava's full of curiosity and passion. No words are spoken but a story worthy of us is communicated.

I lean in and place softly kisses up and down Ava's neck. She lets out little whimpers of anticipation. I work my way back to her tender, smooth lips.

As we kiss she rolls me over and lies on top of my strong, muscular body. She ran her lips up my neck and lands a loving and intense kiss on my lips.

"I missed you idiot.I missed you so much."

"I missed you too Cupcake.I missed you too."

And then I felt water droplets.The night of the beautiful twinkling stars was suddenly consumed by dark black clouds.Rain..the first rain of the season.
