The first game of the season was upon us. Just the thought of it made me happy. "So I was thinking after the game and we win we should go hang out." Vanessa suggest, "how do you know that we're gonna win?" I ask. "Because we are, oh shh..here comes the bitch and she brought her adorable son." I roll my eyes. Sara walks over to us as she holds Arron. "I swear I pray to god you bitches don't ruin my routine." She smiles. "We won't," Vanessa says. "Good, well good luck." She walks over to the bleachers and sits.

Vanessa gestures me to Nick who stares at me regretfully. "I don't want to talk about that... let's just keep talking about you because I feel like I don't see you...anymore." She wraps her arms around me. "Alright let's do this." I move away from her to do a quick backflip and the splits.

Our opening routine contained: twerking, summer salts, cartwheels small lifts in the air spins and classic lines of dance. I spin around before strutting off. I grab my water and stand on the sidelines. Claps echoed throughout the field but this one clap stood out to me. "Amazing," Jake smirks. "Thanks. I'm just hoping that dance routine got you guys hyped." He laughs, "it's the twenty-first century. You aren't just all hype and eye candy women." I giggle, "alright I'm gonna go before Nick kills me." I roll my eyes. I walk over to Nick. "Hi."

I said softly, "oh so now you wanna talk?" I nod, "this is how we work you know that. I get mad or you do and we find each in the end." He sighs, "we're not living in a movie Aria." I shrug, "but it's true."

"Look I have to go play." He says. "Wait...don't you want a good luck kiss?" He grins, "nice offer but no. I don't kiss assholes." He races into the field. I watched as they played while I cheered loudly and proudly. "They're so gonna win," Vanessa whispers into my ear. Suddenly her eyes widen as Jake took a hard fall and he landed back first and boys piled onto of him as his right arm laid on top of his chest. Jake groaned in pain and agony. Vanessa turns to me. "I'm sure he's fine. He's a tough guy." I roll my eyes as if I didn't care. Moments later Jake was hauled out into the back and the game continued.

It was upsetting that we lost due to being three points behind but oh well. Nick sits down on the bench reflecting on the game and running his hands through his hair. "Oh, Romeo, where thy art thy Romeo?" I sit down beside him. "Not now Aria." I sigh and lay my head on his shoulder and smoothly move my hand down to his and intertwine my fingers with his. He slowly smiles, "God I hate you." He mumbles, "okay."

Jake sits in the back heated and in pain. Vanessa rushes in and gazes at him as he glances over at her. "You okay?" Jake frowns but nods. "I'll be fine...this will heal by the time our season really starts." She nods, "that's good really." He smiles, "I miss us...sometimes." Vanessa admits. "Why?" She shrugs, "I guess I miss worrying about someone and someone doing the same for me." She smiles, "but this doesn't mean I want to be with you...not yet at least. I mean you still have eyes for someone else."

Jake nods, "yeah, that." Vanessa nods, "she secretly likes you I think." Vanessa says. "Why do you say that?"
"I just know." My aunt and her boyfriend waited for me to meet them at her car. "You were great out there." I curtsy. "Thanks, Ester."

"Mom," Isaac mumbles to himself and I ignore him. "Where's Nick I want to meet Arron." I sigh, "you'll have to miss his."-

"Aria!" Ester snaps, "sorry I forget I'm talking to old people." I sarcastically throw shade. "We're not old. I'm 32." Ester says. "Right of course anyways can I go out tonight?" I ask. "No we're going out...all of us."

"He's not my family...and I need to enjoy my teen years before it's too late." Isaac laughs, "she's your mother respect that."-

"Isaac." Ester nudged him. "No, she needs to know her place." I frown, "my place? I know where I stand! And it's not here! You have no idea what I've been through and I'm apparently a mistake." I harshly spat directing that last part to her. "And you, why would you want to come back? You left! So leave again don't ever return." I start to walk off, "he can't Aria." I stop and turn, "why not?" I ask eggar to know. "Be-because."- she pauses looking away. I could already tell what her next sentence was. "Ester, what is it?" For a literary man, he sure is dumb. "You're my father."

Isaac jaw drops slightly before covering his mouth. "How could you not tell me?" Ester wept inside her hand in sorrow. "Well, I guess I'll see you later." I salute and run off to find Nick. Once I've found him I noticed that he was talking to Sara. "Thanks again for watching him. You're, a good dad." She smiles, "thanks."

"And I'm happy for you and Aria." She says sincerely. "She is too." Sara suddenly wraps her arms around him and he does the same for her. "I love you." She says, "yeah I know and I loved you." I smile. I am mad but I've realized this was a perfectly healthy relationship. Sara loved him and he somehow loved her. She only was mean and cruel because she was in love. People do crazy things when they're in love. Like right now.

I slowly step back and walk over to where Vanessa and Jake stood. Vanessa rubs his arm before writing her name on his cast. She smiles, "thanks V." She pecks his cheek. "I'll always be here for you." She says. "Hey, where's Aria?" Vanessa asks looking around. "Probably with Nick." I roll my eyes, containing my laughter. "Yeah, those two." I make my way to my car and climb in and drive off.
