"Is it safe to come in?" Isaac asks shielding his eyes. "Yea I'm dressed." He smiles, "I knew you two would end up together." He awkwardly smiles. "Yea how's the little not a disappointment?" I ask. "He's great. He turns one in."-

"I don't care." He nods, "anyways we wanted you to come celebrate our wedding."- I laugh, "like hell, I will after what you did." He frowns, "what did I do you wanted to be a family." I nod, "but that all changed, you had to go and get her knocked up! And then you basically told me I was a mistake."

"I said what we did was a mistake." I laugh, "same thing Isaac! I need more time." He frowns, "you had a whole lot of time now you're coming to this thing or."-

"What? You can't do anything you're not my legal guardian, I'm technically grown and I have a bank account large enough to pay for college so cut me off. I don't need mistakes around here." I scowl before walking to the other side of the room. "You're hurting your mother she."-

"She's not my mom! Quit saying that. You're not my dad you're that boy's dad have fun raising him and making sure he's not a sorry basket case like me."
"We're so sorry Aria we didn't mean to."-

"But you did and now you've paid the price we had a good thing. And now it's over." He nods, "have a nice life Aria." I watch as he stormed out of my dorm while slamming the door behind him.

"Is it safe to come out?" Jake asks coming out of the bathroom. "Yea...I'm sorry you had to hear that. Anyways wanna have that date now?" He smirks, "and skip breakfast?" With a smirk I speak, "I prefer dessert."He checks his phone, "actually I was heading to work, I work over at Starbucks. But I'll see you later." He pecks my cheek before leaving.

Meanwhile, Elena enters her office, "so how'd it go?" She asks Nick. "She still hates me. Which is a start for something." She nods, "better than nothing. Just only if you could remember...then again you don't need to. Stop trying to figure out why and just be her friend...be there for her." He smirks. "Thanks mom you're right." He gets up, kisses her forehead and races off.

Sara staggers, with an elegant stride as she approached Jake. "What do you want?" He asks, "you don't listen do you?" Sara asks, watching her son play around. "I did, she just kept running back to me. I don't want to lie to her." She sighs, "I know you love her, but she loves you because she's using you to get over and back at Nick. Why do you think Vanessa ambushed you with Danielle?" Jake turns to her.

"You are as much to blame as me." She nods, "but at least I didn't lie to her with a false letter on how you met at that party, the same party in which her parents died." Sara waves at Arron to come over. "Anyways you should tell her the truth before I do." He laughs, "you don't scare me. And the truth you want to tell her is false. I'm sick of saving Nick."

"You have to, want to know why? Well because he's the winner of this story."

Knock knock!

"Look, Isaac, I said I wasn't."- I pause as I swing the door open and gaze upon Nick. Leaning onto the door I frown, "if Isaac sent you I'm gonna."-
"He didn't." Crossing my arms I nod. "Can you hear me out?" I shrug, "Aria." Heavily sigh, "two minutes." He smiles, "look I'm sorry about the ambush...I didn't intend for it to happen like that. And I know now why we're not working, it's because we weren't friends... And I'm trying too hard to make us who we used to be...and I'm willing to be friends. For as long as it takes." I smile, "did Jake write that one for you? Because he told me he used to write you notes on how to remember things." He shakes his head cautiously. "Well, I guess I do need more friends. With one rule and only one." He nods, "anything." He said. "No hitting on me." He nods, "good your friendly duties start tomorrow. Now go my company is coming over in a bit." I close the door only to stare out the peephole to watch him leave.

I still love him, and by me hating him makes it so much easier not to love him. I know it's not right but I have to keep living my life and as does he. Sure I miss him. Shut up, no you don't. As I get ready for Jake, sends me this text. "Working late see you tomorrow, love you." Heavily I scoff before returning to bed.

The next day I entered Jake's apartment to find Nick shirtless and a blonde girl. Holding two coffees in hand I nod. "Aria hey, Dena this is my friend Aria, Dena." She smiles, "nice to meet you. Is Jake in his room?" Nick shakes his head. "He had a morning class...he told me to tell you he'll take you out later on today." I sigh, "that's cool well I guess you can have these two coffees. I have class anyway." I set the two coffee cups down and walk to the door. "You sure?" I nod, "yea enjoy." Nick puts on his shirt and beats me to the door. "I may not remember everything but I'm pretty sure I know when you're not okay."

"Really I'm fine. Have fun with your one night stand." She gasps shockingly. Nick turns to her, "don't take it to heart she doesn't mean it...but you are." Dena shrugs, "look I'm your friend and tomorrow is actually today and I'd like to uphold to my title as a friend so when you're done with your classes I'll be here." As I reach out for a hug I pull away before walking out. "Let me guess she's the one that got away?" Nick nods, "she's hot, ask her if she's open for a."-

Nick grimaces at her, "never mind."
