As I exit out of class I notice that Nick was where I told him to be. "Hey Nick." Holding a cup of coffee he hands me the cup. "Thanks," I said. "Did Jake get back to you?" I nod, "yea he's taking me out for a romantic stroll in the park and then to his friend's party." He nods, "will you be there?" I ask, "I don't...me and Jake aren't really friends anymore." I nod, "because of me?" I ask. Shaking his head no he sighs, "honestly yes." I smile as I take a sip of my coffee. "Who would've imagined us two being friends. I mean we were...not for long though. Sorry, I can't dwell on the past. Anyways what about you Romeo?" He smiles, "the nickname thing is for couples Aria." Rolling my eyes I nod. "True but... You're right."-
"Aria, Nick?" Jake calls out to us and I wave him. Slowly he strides over to us. "Since when did this happen?" Jake asks curiously, "well I took what you said into input and I realized being mad for no reason sucks. That and I needed a new friend." He chuckles awkwardly. "That's uh...great." He says planting a kiss on my lips.
"Can I talk to Aria alone for a second?" Jake asks as Nick nods Jake whisks me away out of Nick's hearing reach. "Out of everyone you'd want to be friends with it's him why?" He asks, "I told you I'm tired of being angry. And are you jealous?" Jake turns his head. I gasp before cupping his chin and turning him to face me.
"You don't have to worry about anything because you...my love is who I'm with."-
"Yea, for now." He mumbles, rolling my eyes I press my lips up against his with passion. He smirks, "I love you. Nothing can stop us." Jake slowly removes my hand from his chin and walks away. "Jake, did I say something wrong?" I ask running after him only for him to get lost in the crowd. I wipe my face and turn back to see that Nick had vanished.
"Let's all leave Aria today." I roll my eyes and walk back to my dorm. As I enter my dorm I set my things down. "So you and Nick are friends now?"
I turn to my doorway, "I forget you go here sometimes." I said she laughs, "ha, funny. Then again this is a pretty big campus. Anyways if you hurt Nick."-
"Look weren't you the one who said and I quote I never want to speak to you again, yet your speaking to me." I said, "yet you said you had no feelings for Jake and look at you now." Vanessa exclaimed, "touché."
"You were my friend and you ruined girl code." She said, "V."-
"Don't call me that only my friends do." I nod, "only my friends and family show up to my dorm." I said gripping the doorknob. "You don't have a family! You ruined that." A glowering stare helps the altitude of the swing I make as I smack her in her face. "You want to get your ass beat again?" I ask, Vanessa says nothing. "Okay have a nice day." I slam the door in her face.
The next day I wake up to the sound of someone pounding on my door. "Aria we need to talk." I groan with annoyance. "I know you're in there!" Nick yells, "fine I'll just have to stand here." I roll out of bed in a drunken matter I dawdle towards the door and open the door. "What?" I snap, "good you're awake."
"I was sleep. Do you know what time it is?" I asked leaning on the door. "It's nine o'clock." Rolling my eyes I sigh, "well I wake up at ten, what do you want?" I ask, "Vanessa told me you slapped her." He says, "yup and there were no regrets. Wait why do you care so much? Unless you're making an excuse to come over." He frowns, "don't try and wheedle your way out of it, but no...your... Ester wanted me to get you to come back home." I laugh, "you can't make me." I said challenging him. "Is that so?" He asks raising an eyebrow. "Yup." I squeal as he picks me up and places me on his shoulder. "Put me down!" I scream as I pound my fist onto his back forcefully. He laughs as he sets me down. He begins to rummage through my dresser. "Get out of there!" He pushes me back. "Ooh look, Victoria surely couldn't keep your secret." He says holding up my bra. "A size thirty-four D." I pout, "Nick! Stop! You're."-
"I'm what? Making you upset? Oh well, I'm packing your bags." He says finding the nearest bag. I grab his arm. "Stop!"
"Not until you agree to come." I sit down. "I hate you!" I yell, "yea no you don't." I nod, "yea, I do." He starts packing my things. Slowly he stops as his eyes on my seventeenth birthday crown. Slowly I observe his reaction as if he was trying figure something out. "Y- you kept this?"
"Every princess deserves a crown." He says and then the kiss appeared to come to mind.He turns to me, "of course...it meant something to me." He smiles, "I gave you, your first kiss."- I turn away as I tuck my bang behind my ear. "Yes...you remember?" He nods, "yea."-
"Aria, I'm sorry about earlier...Nick?"-Nick nods, "I'll leave you to uh talk." He sets my crown down and walks out of the room. "He was helping me pack." He walks up to me. "I don't want him around you." Rolling my eyes I smile, "he's just my friend."
"You said that about me, now look at us." I kiss him, "but look who I'm with." He chuckles, "you're right but still I."-"I will keep him out my room and only be out with him with you or Sara."-
