I hurry into my dress as papa saddles up diablo for us. We wouldn't want to cause any trouble for ourselves since papa wanted us to keep our lives and identities a secret.
"That is quite the dress you chose lass. Will yah be able to ride in it?" Papa asks.
I roll my eyes at him. "Don't make me count the numbers of horses I bred for yah old man. Diablo included." I say patting him on the back and getting a gentle head butt in response.
Papa laughs then lifts me on top of the horse then climbs in behind me and kicks the horse forward.
We arrive at the castle grounds just in time for the ceremony to start. We get off diablo and tie him to a post which we stand behind.

"Are you sure she will be there?" Asks Olivia.
"Ofcourse she will. And guess who too..." he trails off.
"No," I gasp. "You should have told me." I add.
"Just look out for a wee lass who looks like yah and a man with muscles the size of barrels." Says Gerald.
I laugh at his exxagaration. He had always been quite the comedian. I dress up and leave the castle in order to get there and find a spot where I can quietly spy on her.
Just as the ceremony starts, two people on a horse ride into the grounds and right that instant, I notice that dress from anywhere.
How beautiful she is. How handsome he is. If only I could run to them and inject myself back into their lives. Sadly, its not that easy.
Satisfied, I get away from the venue and go back the way I came to the castle.

"Lads and ladies, I present to you queen Hayley and King Henry." Announces the royal guard.
Everyone cheers and applauds as others start to leave. We also start to leave because we had some repairs to finish.
I check my waist belt to see if ma's journal is still there then I climb diablo and we ride back home. I start thinking about what a sad life she must have lived in the palace.
"Whatever you are thinkin sweat pea, stop thinkin it." Says papa jolting me from my thoughts. I smile and nod at him as he climbs up the roof to finish off the repairs.
