"It's a bright morning. What a good day to meet the royal seamstress. Where is Edgar?" Asks the queen as she walks into Edgar's palace.
Edgar hears her voice and quickly hides Olivia and her things then goes down to meet her.
"Oh no, no darling, let me come up." She says, " I would love to know what you have been upto. Surely you must be bored without a wife." She says walking past her and into his quarters.
"Ma! Privacy!" He says as he rushes to get her out of his room.
"My my, someone has been busy." She says grinning at him and holding up a corset.
He starts sweating at the hands remebering that it belongs to Olivia. 'I had not planned for this.' He says to himself.
"Well, why don't we go down for some food as we await Lady Gwen hm?" He says pushing her towards the stairs.
Olivia moves to grab her hat and as she closes the door it creaks. "What was that?" Asks the queen.
Luckily a little mouse dashes past her making her scream. Edgar laughs a little and lets out a sigh of relief.
"You think this is funny? Clean up yah house if yah have no servants dear." She says walking down the stairs quickly.
Lady Gwen the royal seamstress who had been serving the royals for close to three decades bows and greets Hayley and the queen.
"Majesties. What can I do yah for?" She asks.
Hayley then throws herself into her arms, "Oh Gwen! I have missed yah." She says.
"Now now, yah don't want all these pins and needles in yah skin now do yah?" Says Lady Gwen grinning at her.
"Ahem! We need a gown for this young lassy's wedding. We need it in a hurry. No time for chatting." Says the queen looking her up and down.
"Yes majesty. What type of gown do yah want?" Asks Lady Gwen.
"Well that is not my work to know!" Says the queen. "I believe the name seamstress means something." She adds.
"Come with me lass. Let's make yah a pretty gown." She says to Hayley. When they are out of earshot distance she says, "I wonder what has her in such awful moods."
"I will tell yah all about it in a while. Tell me, what have you been doing all these years?" Hayley asks her.
"Oh, just the usual, a little dancing a little contest and a little working from time to time. Master Edgar is a really nice man. I wonder how I would survive living with yah ma." Replies Gwen.
Hayley laughs as she admires an unfinished gown pushed to the corner of the room.
"What's this piece?" Asks Hayley.
"Oh, just a little thinking over soup." She says nervously.
"Looks very interesting." Says Hayley.
"Quite, quite. Now hold still I need to measure yah before I choke yah with this corset." Says Gwen.
She always made them beautifully but never wore one. Claimed it was the fastest way to death.
"All done dearie. Now yah can go and come back in a fortnight it will be ready." She tells Hayley smiling at her.
After the queen leaves, they all sigh in relief as Olivia comes out of the cabinet. Who knows what she would have done had her evil mother found her.
