"Its no use Hayley. We are doomed there is no kingdom left to run." Says the queen.

"Come on mother. You are queen Loretta, the most ruthless of all queens in history. Don't give up now." Says Hayley.

As much as she hated everything that her mother did including the arranged marriage between her and the prince of Finland, she hated to see her in despair.

"Will you stay with me my child?" Asks the queen.

"Ofcourse mother. I will stay with you for as long as you want." She replies.

And with that, she goes to make her mother's favourite tea in order to calm her down. Since words could not.

"Here mother, have some tea." Says Hayley.

"Thankyou my dear, you make it so well. The only thing that has not left me till today." Says the queen as she sighs and takes a sip of the tea.

"Are you happy with your gift sweet pea?" Asks Bartley.

"Ofcourse I am pa. Yah went through all this trouble to give it to me. How can I not be happy with it?" She replies.

"Well then, let us eat before the food gets cold my sweet." He says as he sets down her favourite, soda bread.

"Yah remembered!" Says Elsa.

"I'm not that old lass cut yah old man some slack." Says Bartley taking a bite of his food.

In a way, she reminded him of Olivia so even if she was not with him, a part of her was. Infact an exact copy of her was and it warmed his heart that he had succeeded this far in keeping her safe. What he did not tell her was that he burned the last few pages of Olivia's journal in order to protect her. The less she knew the safer she would be.

And he bit into his bread with those thoughts silently crossing his mind.
